Honestly im amazed im a technician with ase's, I didn't even really want to do coilovers for my car but some things went my way and I decided to do it . I saw the reviews and decided to dive in . Bmw f25 with kw v2 coils, he knocked it out in 2 hours . While I was at work doing 4 tires and alignment on a 2004 v6 jaguar xt . Looks great and put it just like I wanted. Im so happy , Thanks Chris! Just dont mention ai or chat gpt u might get flipped on lmao 😂 . Price was amazing also ! Don't be scared people he is him .
I’ve dealt with enough automotive shops over the years to know when I’m talking to someone who genuinely knows their craft versus someone who simply knows how to write an invoice.
Chris at Modified Workz is the real thing.
I found the shop almost accidentally while looking for someone trustworthy to work on my Toyota Tundra build, and walking into Modified Workz turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made throughout this entire project.
What stood out immediately was Chris himself. Straightforward, knowledgeable, honest, and clearly passionate about modified vehicles. No inflated ego. No sales pitch. No pretending every bolt requires a four hour labor charge.
Just honest work done properly.
He quoted me a very fair price upfront and honored it exactly when the work was finished. That alone separates him from half the industry. The job was completed quickly, cleanly, and correctly the first time. No shortcuts. No sloppy wiring. No loose ends. No “we’ll fix it later” mentality.
And when you care deeply about your vehicle, that matters.
My Tundra build has been a true labor of love for me, and trusting someone else with it is not something I take lightly. Chris treated the truck with care, precision, and respect throughout the process. You can feel the difference when someone actually takes pride in what leaves their shop.
Modified Workz has that rare old school honesty combined with modern technical knowledge, and that combination is getting harder and harder to find.

I found Modified Workz completely by accident, and I genuinely could not be happier that I did. Chris, the owner operator, is the kind of honest mechanic that’s become incredibly hard to find these days. He charges you for the actual time spent WORKING on your vehicle, not the amount of time it sat outside the shop, and not the amount of time it occupied a lift while the mechanic took a spiritual sabbatical in the Cathedral of St. John. (wink)

11/10 experience. Chris was very knowledgeable and friendly. One of the only place I found that welds titanium and he went above and beyond. My exhaust hanger snapped and he welded it back tgt and drilled two metal plates to further strengthen it.
I also had an exhaust rattle other shops quoted me $500+ to take it apart to find the issue. Chris literally took 10-15 secs and fixed it on the spot.
Price was more than fair, would definitely be coming back.
This review is long over due. Big shoutout to Chris for all the work that he’s done to my cars and people that I referred. Whether it sourcing a part that I need to finish a job, making accommodations, or just keeping me updated on the progress; Chris is your guy. Honest and quality, and professional work all the way.
