When I was a child my father would take me to Little Italy to buy bread and pastries.
The bread he bought was out of this world.
I am now 72 years old and have longed for that bread but I've never had anything like it since then. Until now.
Ive tried every "artisan" bread out there.
This is the only one.
Being a Sicilian I knew right away this was the best of the best. You will never ever find bread make like this Sicilian family does. This is the real deal. God bless you all for keeping the tradition.
Wow! I stumbled across this bread months ago at Meat Farms. Fantastic crumb, crust and flavor. I would drive all over for good Italian style bread well no more. My wife who really is not a bread eater now eats the stuff like crazy. Just the other day she picked up an olive and an onion. So, not only are we going through olive oil for dipping, we even eat it with breakfast. I make bread but not anymore. Thank you!
