I had a wonderful experience calling in the morning after my other vet canceled. I was happy to secure a same-day appointment with ease through their AI receptionist. My commute from Brooklyn to the vet clinic was quicker than I expected as well!
Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed by their clean, warm, colorful, and inviting office. The receptionist greeted me with a friendly smile, which made me feel more at ease. I was promptly seen by Dr. Kurtzman, who, along with her attentive team, showed incredible compassion as I shared my concerns about my 3-month-old rescue puppy, Inari, who had been experiencing occasional vomiting since I adopted her two weeks ago. Thanks to their expertise, they quickly diagnosed her problem, and I was so relieved she was gonna be okay.
I’m particularly grateful for the follow-up care they provided, ensuring that Inari was on the path to wellness. They updated me on her fecal results and reassured me that I could reach out if anything came up. Plus, they offer a discount for first-time visitors, which is such a nice touch!
I can't recommend this clinic highly enough and truly appreciate the warm care Inari and I received. I’m looking forward to bringing her back for her puppy boosters. If you're looking for a knowledgeable and friendly team for your pets, don't hesitate to choose this clinic!
I’ve been to 2 different vets and this one has been my favorite my far! My last vet did not know how to handle cats very well but everyone here was so knowledgeable. They were so kind and extremely helpful from the start. I had a lot of questions about my cats weight and how to put him in the carrier, and Andrea was wonderful. I didn’t even come in for these reasons (my cat had an itchy ear) but they still addressed all these concerns. Andrea really made the difference during this visit, love her! I’m definitely returning and I’m so happy I found a vet for my cat.
We had a great experience at Pure Paws. Our dog had an upset stomach that had been bothering him for a week, and we were able to find a last-minute appointment at a convenient time at Pure Paws. Dr. Kurtzman and the staff were empathetic, knowledgeable, and patient as they listened to us and then came up with a treatment plan. Costs were reasonable and everything was clearly outlined in advance. They also followed up with us within 24 hours to check on our dog's progress. I'd highly recommend Pure Paws and Dr. Kurtzman to anyone in the area who's looking for vet services!
Highly recommended. We brought our dog, Ruby, to Pure Paws at Hudson Square and received amazing service. The facility is beautiful, extremely clean and comfortable. The vet tech did a great job of taking our report and answering our questions, and she put Ruby at ease. Then Dr. Wexler did an excellent job assessing and diagnosing Ruby and advising us. She even sat down on the floor with Ruby as they got to know each other. While you never want to go to the vet, if you have to go, this is the place.
Pure Paws is the best vet in NYC! Our dog Hugo gets so excited to go there and never wants to leave, sitting by the door and refusing to get up. It is all because of the care and love he gets from the vet, tech, and team at Pure Paws. We see Dr. Kurtzman but have seen every vet there and they are all exceptional. Vet tech Andrea has even become a babysitter to Hugo!
The team always follows up to check in on Hugo after a visit. They are always available to answer the many questions that come with having a new puppy. Whether he has eaten a sock or just a routine check up, they always have his best interests in mind and are super conscious and respectful of costs and our time. They make insurance reimbursements very easy!
If you are in the downtown area, this is the vet you should go to!
