My family has relied on the professionalism and care provided by Riverside for two generations. My parents took advantage of their Pre-Plan option to prepare their own funeral arrangements and handle the majority of costs up front. The staff, and in particular, Maria, were all warm and supportive as they guided us through the process during a difficult time. They provided guidance and recommendations for necessary administrative needs post funeral and helped us create beautiful and loving services to celebrate the lives of our loved ones. Highly recommend.
The Legacy live stream was well done and well received across the country by over 30 participants who could not attend in person. And I hear from more and more friends and relatives who have found it online and really appreciate being able to experience the memorial service. The photo slide show was great.
Thank you RMC!
Very satisfied with the funeral arrangements for my father. Great staff. Great facility. Planning was excellent and execution went smoothly. Made a difficult time so much easier. Highly recommend Riverside Memorial Chapel.
During one of the hardest times of my life, Riverside Memorial Chapel supported my family and me with genuine care and compassion. They truly listened to us and gently guided us through every step, which meant more than I can express. Jeffrey was incredible—his kindness, professionalism, and warmth brought comfort when we needed it most. I will always be grateful for the care we received.
Choosing Riverside Memorial Chapel as our funeral care team was one of the best decisions we made during an incredibly difficult time. Last month, my family unexpectedly lost my brother, Johnny. We were completely underprepared for the daunting role and task of organizing his services while emotionally navigating our devastating loss.
Our Funeral Director, Jennie Chase, truly felt sent to us by the universe, or by my Johnny himself. She made an overwhelming process feel manageable, meaningful, and even comforting. Jennie matched our family’s humor, gently lightening heavy moments when appropriate, and showed genuine care during our deepest grief. She never rushed us, and she guided us with patience, compassion, and clear expertise.
Jennie was with us every step of the way from our first meeting, just days after Johnny’s passing, to ensuring that when he was prepared for the viewing that his hat was tilted at just the right angle. She thoughtfully assembled the best team to support us on both days, consistently anticipated our needs, and stayed with us through the church service and even at the cemetery. We actually spoke a couple of days ago about a question and a need that we have.
Every single person we interacted with at Riverside Memorial Chapel treated Johnny, our family, and our guests with professionalism, empathy, and deep respect. While these responsibilities are expected in this profession, what we experienced was different. This level of care is rare and deserves recognition.
All the details were handled thoughtfully, and the kindness, warmth, and genuine care shown to us made an immeasurable difference during such somber, confusing, and overwhelming days. We will always be grateful to Riverside Memorial Chapel, and especially to Jennie, for caring for Johnny, our family, and loved ones with such heart.
