Sam lives up to the reviews. Brought in a family heirloom for resizing, and Sam was meticulous in outlining the risks of resizing my signet ring (risk of burning or cracking the stone). I moved forward despite the risks, and Sam took care of it beautifully.
Furthermore, I had a watch that needed some help, but he very transparently let me know that the manufacturer could probably take care of it for free - a level of honesty you don't find much these days. Not only is Sammy knowledgeable and talented when it comes to fixing watches, jewelry, etc. but he’s a really cool guy. My boyfriend needed a few watches fixed, which Sammy was able to do no problem. We stayed for a while and talked to Sammy about his paintings and some of the cool people he’s met throughout his life. We’ll definitely go back and recommend Sammy to friends. Thanks Sammy!
Great service! I brought in an old family heirloom locket that had been super glued shut for years due to a broken latch. He was able to clean and polish the locket like new as well as repaired the latch so now it fully opens and closes. Plus he was able to do it in one afternoon at a fair price when I had been quoted over 2 weeks wait at other stores. Will definitely be coming back here!
I found Sam through Google, and just loved his reviews. I had a gold heirloom tie-pin from my grandpa that I wanted made into a necklace.
Sam and I chatted a bit, and he let me know that he could have it done the same day..and he did. He also kindly dropped it off at my building. He replaced my watch battery as well; on the spot!
His little shop is interesting; it’s colorful with his own paintings covering the walls. He also sells some beautiful pens. Make an appointment before you go.
