Amazing experience, never felt so comfortable working with anyone, Joe really made it exciting, you know he loves what he does, and he does it so well. We told him what we wanted in our kitchen table, he gave us his ideas, showed us some wood slabs, and gave us the history of the pieces, incredable. Joe gave us photos, along with video updates to show us his progress. This table is beautiful, Thank you.
Joe brought our vision of the perfect coffee table for our space to life. It was so much fun working on this project from start to finish with him. Once we showed him our space he immediately said he had the perfect slab of reclaimed walnut for us. The next step was meeting in his wood shop to see the slab and look at different finishes, and choose the legs (metal or wood). Once that was completed Joe set about bringing our vision to life. He sent us photos at every step of the process which made it even more exciting as he got closer to completion. Once the table was done, Joe delivered it himself right to our living room. You can tell that Joe’s heart is in every piece he creates and he’s a very talented craftsman. Highly recommend him for a custom one-of-a-kind piece (this is our second)!
We just worked with Joe on a custom console table for our TV and it turned out fantastic. We searched all over Long Island (and also across the country via Etsy!) to try and find someone to work on this project with us and were so happy to find Joe so close to home! The process was seamless and Joe is very timely and responsive. He also had great design ideas to add. Workmanship and quality are beautiful. We already have ideas for future pieces! Highly recommend.
I can’t say enough nice things about Sound Designs. Working with Joe was seamless from start to finish. He was super communicative, sharing process photos and videos along the way. I had an idea for a floating office table, sent over a crude drawing with dimensions, and he made it a reality. From recommending the wood to ordering the fixtures and delivering the table, I felt informed the whole time. Plus, he’s just such a nice guy. Looking forward to using my new table and so happy to have found such a talented woodworker nearby!
Our experience with Joe at Sound Designs was wonderful from the moment we met. We stopped into his workshop to check things out and left with an order for a new dining room table. His design is fantastic, his workmanship is exceptional and his attention to detail and customer satisfaction are second to none.
