Fast and clean service! Was understanding that I had had a smaller load to wash and still go it done fast.
Very happy with CleanersIO! The price is reasonable for the area, service is friendly and fast, and most importantly my clothes and linens always return spotless and smelling fresh. Very convenient that they will hang dry 6 items for free and the turnaround is very quick.
The location is very close to NYU + Law School, making it convenient for last-minute needs and emergencies. The staff were sweet, and the prices are typical for this area. I brought in a trench coat, and they did a great job!
Do not dry clean your clothes here. It’s a waste of time and money. Completely ruined my vintage 100% cashmere coat. Unfortunately, they do not seem to know how to properly handle dry cleaning.
***Update: Months later, I returned to drop off wash and fold, and the owner refused to serve me because I had previously left a review about my negative dry cleaning experience.
There’s a reason this place has so many bad reviews. It seems like they try to offset them with questionable positive ones. The response to feedback was completely unreasonable, and the service itself is not good enough to justify the cost.
Save your money and go down the street to Ok Fashion Town Cleaners instead. They provide reliable service with organic cleaning and don’t charge extra for every small thing.
Overall, this has been the worst service experience I’ve had with a cleaner.
Went here about a year ago based on reviews. Took in a silk gown and when I came to pick it up they had stapled a tag right into the dress literally ruining it. When I reached out they just apologized and promised they’d never do something like that again. Needless to say I never went back. But now a year later and they have even more all five star reviews so I figured why not try again, it must’ve been a one time bad mistake. I dropped off three pieces. When I came to pick up the clothes they were in a bag tied at the bottom so that the newly cleaned and ironed pieces are now all wrinkled. I pointed it out and the woman just apologized and said to let them know next time not tie up clothes in the bag. When I came home I saw the middle piece wasn’t even properly hung up on the hanger so the top and bottom of piece are all wrinkled and this time a safety pin was just stuck right into the fabric ruining the piece.
Anyhow, I realize now why there are all these great reviews. They have a sign offering a discount if you give them a five star google review. Maybe they’re good for wash and fold, but if you have nice clothes that you like maybe don’t go there for dry cleaning and definitely don’t trust all these great reviews.
