Beautiful premises as well, amazing staff and capacity to rent spaces for films and festivals. I love that they have a cozy space. Makes no one wants to leave, I would be back to see more and without a doubt 5/5 customer care service. Thank you so much! I look forward for more of your productions.
These guys are true creative all-stars! Their innovative problem-solving has been invaluable to Classic Construction on projects both big and small. We highly recommend them!
I've worked out of this studio many times. The drive-on stage is great for loading in/out, plenty of power, good street parking for crew/agency, comfortable HMU/Green rooms and basic GE package in-house. The owners are a great group of talented set builders and artists themselves, which is an added bonus. Can't recommend Windmill enough! The space is great and so are the folks that run it.
I've used Windmill Studios several times throughout my years of producing. They can do everything - design and build sets, handle an installation at another studio, rent you a studio with or without gear... I love how flexible it is. It's also a relaxed environment. Perfect for when I have clients on set.
The studio has a ton of space, an isolated HMU room, and it's also a great place to rent if you need to film at other locations in Greenpoint. I've used their studio for holding.
My wife and I were lucky enough to attend a film at Windmill Studios that was part of the Brooklyn Film Festival. We watched Wildlike and highly recommend it! Windmill Studios is a simple, straightforward space. We can't speak to its other uses, only its status as a movie venue for a film festival. The large back room had enough chairs for a large crowd. The screen was the perfect size for the space. It was a great setting for a great movie.
