After years of struggle to find someone who understands my curly wavy hair texture I’m so glad I found Jenna here! I no longer fear haircuts. Highly recommend Jenna to all those with the in between hair texture.
Also the salon is always clean, with comfortable warm lighting (none of that harsh white light); always a great experience!
Addam is an absolute hair superstar! I’ve seen him three times now, for cuts and color, and have been so in love with every single style and shade we’ve done together. The first time I saw him we took my blonde to a beautiful white platinum, and since we’ve also done both an amazing salmon-y red and a lovely icy pink.
His instinct, creativity, precision and dedication to his craft are all 100% on point. And not only is he extremely talented, but he is also incredibly kind.
The salon is very nice too! The whole team is very friendly and welcoming. Lovely ambience and great location right in the heart of SoHo.
I’ve been going to Addam since I first moved to NYC over 10 years ago and I genuinely can’t imagine trusting anyone else with my hair (even when I moved away for a short stint). I’ve followed him from salon to salon over the years and Art and Autonomy is the most beautiful one yet.
Addam has seen me through every length, every color, and every random “I want a change but I can’t explain it” moment. He somehow knows exactly what I mean, even when I butcher the description.
Addam is unbelievably skilled at both cutting and coloring. I have very thick hair and a lot of it - so it can be hard to tame. My hair grows quicker than I can make appointments (humble brag) and it always grows out beautifully. He consistently nails the shape, the tone and the overall look. I get constant compliments immediately after an appointment and right up until the next one.
Beyond his talent, he’s also been such a constant over the years. He is a true confidant and someone I always look forward to seeing.
If you’re looking for a hairdresser in NYC, you’ve found him. Addam is the absolute best and cannot be beat!
