Bark Street - Dog Daycare & Grooming

Sadly after several rounds of employee changes, my dog has come out limping twice. Never had issues in the past.
Both times the injuries were in association with the presence of an employee, I will call Lazy L. (Both evenings I had to go to a VET emergency room due to his howling)
Lazy L is so lazy in fact that while another employee was helping two clients at once obtain their belongings for their respective dogs...he let my dog loose on his own to find me. Then Lazy L let me look through 50 or more cubbies to find my items all while sitting at the computer at the front desk.
Meanwhile the other employee is helping 2 clients!
It was embarrassing to not receive the same treatment other clients were getting. Not just a bruised ego but also an injured dog.
I won't even go over how contentious the front desk person who I will name Contentious J was when I spoke to her in person.
If they like you they will treat well otherwise...you and your dog need to watch your back. Will not return and do not recommend.

I stated its overpriced when you factor in the vet emergency room costs

I had my dog groomed here recently and I would never bring her here again.
1 day later she has dandruff flakes all over and I can see skin flaking off her ears to the point that I am taking her to a vet to get her checked out. They must be using low grade shampoo and excessive heat, even though I requested a hypoallergenic shampoo.
Red flags all over this place. It does not look anything like what they post on google, it is just dark and sad which unhappy staff. The reception has no idea who’s checking in, they kept trying to check my dog in under someone else’s appointment. When I was picking her up, they could not find my dog and had to look for her through charts, clearly they didn’t even bother remembering the dog’s name or breed or what she looked like.
The groomer literary shaved my dog so short that pink sink is visible and left uncut head and decided to clip a bow to cover up crappy job.
My dog came out so traumatized that she tried to jump out of my hands when I picked her up.

My shorkie needed a trim badly after the winter season, and Deysy did an amazing job. I provided a photo of the haircut I wanted, and Deysy even gave my dog a little pink bow.

She did a fantastic job with my dog's face shaping, paw trim, nail cutting, and overall clean-up after I tried to put clippers to the dog myself. I would definitely recommend Bark Street.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Bark st. From the moment we walk in, the staff greets my dog, Gus with so much warmth and genuine affection. They truly know each dog’s personality and needs, which gives me complete peace of mind while I’m away. Gus doesn’t walk there, he RUNS there and lets himself in like he owns the place!

The facility is always clean, safe, and full of engaging activities. Gus comes home happy, relaxed, and sometimes so tired from playing that he passes out before his dinner time. I love the updates and photos they send during the day—it’s clear he’s having the time of her life.

It’s rare to find a place that combines professional care with such a personal touch, but Bark st. does exactly that. I’m so grateful to have found them and wouldn’t trust anyone else with my dog.

Bark Street is the BEST!

They take such great care of our dog, Goose! On multiple occasions, they've gone above and beyond—helping us out last-minute by dropping Goose off at our apartment, taking her for an extra walk, and just being incredibly reliable and kind. You can tell the staff genuinely love her like she's their own.

For daycare, we get regular updates with pictures and videos throughout the day, which we love. And when she's boarding, they even send a sweet goodnight photo of her curled up in bed—it's the cutest thing and really puts us at ease.

Goose is a pretty anxious pup, especially around new people. One day, while walking her, she suddenly pulled hard on the leash and ran up to a woman I didn’t recognize—turns out, she was one of the overnight staff at Bark Street! Goose was so excited to see her, and the feeling was clearly mutual. It was such a heartwarming moment and just reinforced how much the team there truly cares.

The best part, she is so exhausted when she comes home. After a quick burst of zoomies, she usually sleeps through the evening, the night and most of the next day.
