We had a last minute need over the 4th of July weekend, and Christi, Crystal, and Larry jumped in and help get my mom sorted while we were far away. Shortly after the aid arrived for a 4 hours shift, Mom ended up needing to get transported to a NYC ER on a holiday weekend, she spent several days, and the team and aids were incredible and by her side the entire time.. The professionalism and care during such a was incredible - Thank you.
Short story: Bayada has been an excellent partner with my family in managing my Dad’s caretaking. Longer version: When our
family made a decision that it was time for assistance from a home health aid, I didn’t know where to start. I live in NJ and my 86 year old Mom was the primary caretaker for my 89 year old Dad who has mobility issues and dementia. The mother of one of my daughter’s BFFs is an RN who works for Bayada. She patiently (yay nurses!) explained the services that Bayada provides, and it was fortuitous that the company had a NY office. All I ever heard was complaints about home health aids. I called around to a few places and figured that it was best to try a company that came with a recommendation. On the administrative side, Bayada has been very professional, accessible, flexible and responsive to our needs. The aides have been very attentive, helpful, patient and pleasant. As my Dad’s needs change e.g. less walker and more wheelchair, Bayada staff has been accommodating. I would definitely recommend Bayada for home health care!
The team at Bayada are fantastic. We have used them for 24hr care for more than 3 years and are extremely grateful for the wonderful aides. Safety-focused, compassionate, knowledgeable and kind-everyone is amazing.
