When my sister returned to her apartment following cancer surgery she was seriously incapacitated. We were so fortunate to learn about Comfort Keepers. When I contacted Lisa she quickly sent a lovely woman to help my sister. She did so much to help my sister literally get back on her feet. During my sister's recovery she insured that the apartment stayed neat and clean, she shopped for food, did the laundry, made sure that my sister was comfortable, walked with her in the hallway to help her regain strength and stamina, and was simply there when needed. Lisa is easy to work with, easy to get in touch with if necessary and as professional as anyone could ask for. I highly recommend Comfort Keepers for long or short term help in your home.
Recently, a relative started to need home care, and a Medicare-related agency could not provide assistance. Comfort Keepers was a godsend. Lisa McNee was both professional and sympathetic, and got me the help my relative needed very quickly. I had to make a number of scheduling adjustments, which she handled with no fuss. Especially important, my relative has liked all the people she has sent.
From the first time I spoke to Lisa she was a wonderful calm caring voice during one of the most stressful life experiences. She spent the time on the phone with me on more than one occasion discussing options and the best ways to provide care for my aging ill mother. Ultimately, I moved my mother to an area that Lisa services did not cover but she still took the time to make a referral and assured me that I could call her with any future concerns. You cannot find this level of service in the health care industry in 2026.
I hired Comfort Keepers for my dad’s care over the course of seven months and overall, I am pleased with the level of service provided. The company is small, boutique-style, and owned by Lisa, who is hands-on and ensures personalized attention for each client. This is one of the main reasons I decided to go with her service initially.
We had a total of three different caretakers during this time. The first one was highly recommended by Lisa but didn’t work out for us. However Lisa was responsive and worked with us to ensure we got two excellent replacements who were a great fit. Lisa understands the importance of providing caregivers who match the needs of each client, and both of the later caretakers were professional, compassionate, reliable and very smart.
One thing to note about Lisa’s process is that she requires a two week security deposit as well as advance notice for any schedule changes or changes in caretakers. Given that it’s a small operation, I understand that they don’t have the flexibility of larger companies to pivot quickly.
That said, I would still recommend Comfort Keepers for anyone looking for a personalized and reliable caregiving service. Lisa’s commitment to providing quality care and finding the right match for her clients is evident, and I’m grateful for the care she provided to my dad.

They provided my mom with the highest quality of care and treated them with dignity, respect, and compassion. The caregivers are attentive and patient and truly go above and beyond to ensure comfort and well-being.
The level of communication and coordination with the staff has also been outstanding. They listened to our concerns and tailored a care plan perfectly suited our needs. It’s clear that everyone at Comfort Keepers is deeply committed to what they do, and it has given us peace of mind knowing our loved one is in such capable and caring hands.
