Two stars because it actually made me laugh a bit how unhelpful they are.
Good luck if you have an issue with your purchase. I brought my chair from here about a year ago and it has a small rip in the seat fabric. I was just reaching out to find out my options for repair. But I guess that was too much to ask for.
I called them for a warranty claim. They provided stunningly good customer service. They went way above and beyond help me out. Now my Herman Miller chair is back in pristine condition. Thanks so much!
Ordered a Herman Miller chair from this company during the height of the pandemic in New York. Testing the chair was not feasible given stores were closed, and I was looking to complete my home office quickly. I don’t feel i received the best recommendation from this company. I requested a chair with lumbar support, I was told the chair in question(Model: Embody) had great whole body support. The chair has very soft flexible backing, most people with lower back pain need the opposite, a firm backing or at least a backing that does not completely give way. I sit in many different chairs in several offices. This is the only chair that actually aggravates my back pain. This store has a return policy with a 75% restocking fee, yes you read that correctly. This should have raised a red flag. Ultimately, I took a chance on the chair, and now I am stuck with a poorly functioning chair that I can not return.
I ordered several different things from this company. Not only do they charge a lot for the furniture but they up charge you on delivery and it's a Hefty fee. I felt inclined to write this review because of my poor experience with this company. It's now February and I was promised office waiting room seating months ago. They messed up my order after I paid down payment they claimed I didn't sign paperwork and order form (ironically I had a signed copy from October, it's now February and still waiting) so because of their screw up it was delayed then they had some other excuse for more delays. I'm supposed to get my furniture next week which I have to drive all the way to New Jersey for. They didn't even have the courtesy to deliver free of charge after everything they put me through. 2 stars is being nice!!
