Based on a recommendation from a parent whose child learned to swim through Deborah's company, I contacted Deborah and immediately knew my toddler would be in caring and attentive hands. Deborah assigned the swim instructor Kristin to our daughter. Learning how to swim from Kristin was the highlight of the week for my daugther. My daughter doesn't warm up to new people quickly (or at all) but she was laughing with and trusting Kristin within five minutes. Kirstin was thorough and caring throughout. Deborah also provided in depth updates and was always very responsive. I highly recommend working with Deborah and thank her and Kristin for giving my daughter the confidence to be in the water!
Our family couldn't love Deborah more. Not only did she teach both of our children how to swim, she taught them at a very young age how to work through their fears, and that with persistence and hard work they could do anything. My now 9 and 12 year old are strong swimmers with impressive form. Our son is a serious basketball player and our daughter a gymnastic, both their journeys in competitive sports began with Deborah.
Deborah is not just a swim instructor but a swim coach. She is not only an astute observer on the skills of her client, but she is focused on bringing out the best in her students. She is empathetic, not sympathetic in her working with individuals, but also is character minded in the curriculum development. This is modeled in all of her instructors working with people. It is evident that all of these qualities exhibited by enrollees after a period of time reflects credit on “Deborah swim.”
My favorite part about DeborahSwim is the amount of care and one-on-one attention. Children from all different skill levels not only learn HOW to swim but they learn to LOVE to it. After a few lessons, their fears turn into fun. No more dragging your kid to swim class, they will be asking to go!
Top notch swim company!! I still can’t believe that my now toddler is fully swimming. Deborah’s teaching philosophy really gets kids to not only LOVE the water, but makes them feel confident and empowered to keep getting better and better! I couldn’t be more grateful for their expertise … thank you thank you!!!! Worth every penny!!!
