Amanda and her team are professional, kind, and all around a pleasure to work with. All of our interactions are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Downtown Kids Therapy!
We love Downtown Kids Therapy! We've come here for both personal PT sessions for our son as well as Tummy Time class, and both were great experiences. Amanda is kind and informative, and I never felt she was trying to push more PT sessions on us. She did an amazing job with our son's torticollis. The space is also very cute and clean. Highly recommend Amanda and Downtown Kids if your baby has any PT needs.
From the moment I first called Downtown Kids Therapy, I knew it was the right choice and that we were in the best, most professional and caring hands. Amanda was wonderful from start to finish and I will continue to recommend her (and the entire practice) to anyone I know looking for services. Amanda not only helped my daughter go from mostly immobile to fully walking in 3 months, but also she helped support me as a parent navigating PT for the first time.
My family has been going to DKT for PT and speech for almost a year. The progress my son has made is overwhelming. He truly enjoys going to his "classes" every week because Korri and Amanda are so joyful, warm and welcoming. Tackling speech and physical delays is difficult work for a toddler, so all of his lessons are disguised as fun games and challenges which he loves to participate in. What I value the most is Korri and Amanda's watchful eyes - they were able to alert me to an issue even his pediatrician hadn't noticed and we nipped it in the bud before it got worse. Thanks to them, we are looking forward to a fun summer and successful school year this Fall!!
Amanda Reed, PT has been seeing my daughter for a gross motor delay as well as hypotonia and has drastically improved my daughters physical capabilities while simultaneously better educating me on her delay and how to help her on a daily basis. Amanda is calm, caring, compassionate, incredibly knowledgeable, and is excellent with my daughter. The gym is clean, fun, and dynamic, allowing us to work on multiple skills at each visit. Amanda consistently introduces new games and exercises while also explaining how to replicate these activites in a home environment. I trust her implicitly with my daughter and I rely on her expertise to help guide us in building strength, coordination, and increasing mobility. The improvement we have seen in 6 months has allowed my daughter to go from tipping over in a seated position to running around the playground. I can not recommend Amanda highly enough. Amanda is gentle, encouraging, and a joy to be around. PT with Amanda is the best parenting choice I have made yet for my daughter.
