DTV Installations

I had a really great experience with Sean and DTV. I hired them in 2022 to install a video intercom and keyless entry system for my small multi-unit building in Brooklyn. it was a completely seamless experience where Sean gave me a selection or options around price and sophistication and then offered a fair price.

I should have done this review a few years ago but when I called them last week to ask for additional key fobs they were delivered to my door within a couple of days. I also want to note that when I tried to get my key fob copied on my own, the places I tried all said that a lot or building fobs are easy to copy (terrible security) but mine couldnt be and needed to be ordered. I’m so happy about that extra sense of security

TLDR: We have been able to count on these guys for a long time. They do good work. They are easy to contact and show up when they say they will.

The detail: DTV installations installed our Lutron system about 7 years ago. Monorail tech lights installed in solid concrete ceilings, wall sconces, flush mount ceiling lights, shades in living room and bedroom, TV and Sonos speakers… they did it all. In 2024 we called them when we upgraded and moved our tv to a different wall. We also had them extend our wifi signal (we had tried to do it ourselves with different extenders and failed!). Now our super fast wifi signal is fast and strong beyond our closet and actually works in the living room. And this year our shades finally needed a battery change, which due to our design choices, needs professionals to do it. The DTV techs were at our apartment in no time and sorted everything out. They good and reliable and up front with their pricing…. No regrets!

Just want to say thank you to DTV installation team Sean, Roman and Alex for amazing work that was done in my apartment. They help me with smart light switches installation, automatic blinds were installed on every window, TV hang on a wall in Living room and Sonos sound system was installed as well. Roman and Alex helped me to connect everything to apps on my phone and I’m able to control many features directly from the screen at any time. In addition, smart Nest thermostat was installed and connected as well. All the work was done on time as scheduled. Highly recommended!
