I work in the financial district and wanted to get my nails done after work. I put my name on the waitlist and got an appointment within an hour! Amazing interior and crazy good mail techs. I was worried that they wouldn’t be able to do the design, but it came out just like my inspo picture. Phenomenal communication on what I wanted and an even better execution. The perfect Russian manicure is found here!!!
This place is so great, my tech was Alice is and she did such a great job!! also enjoyed a glass of prosecco while getting my nails done and i feel like this is honestly my best manicure so far. Can’t wait for my next appt to try other ideas ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I got my nails done yesterday and I’m extremely disappointed with the quality of service, especially for the price ($158).
I had originally booked with a senior technician (which is more expensive), but my appointment was switched last minute. I was told Alice was also a senior technician, however based on my experience, she clearly did not perform at that level.
During the cuticle work, she was very rough and hurt me twice without apologizing. I had specifically booked a Russian manicure, but the proper technique did not seem to be followed (no proper hard gel leveling or hand flipping for an even finish).
The French tip design was rushed and uneven. I pointed this out while I was there and also spoke to the receptionist, but the only solution offered at the time was a pair of collagen gloves, which did not address the issue.
Less than 24 hours later, my nails have already started chipping, which is completely unacceptable for a service at this price point. There was also visible leftover white polish around my nails, showing a lack of proper cleanup and attention to detail.
I called the next day to report the chipping and was offered to have them fixed by a regular nail technician—not a senior tech, which is what I originally paid for. I was also offered a $15 credit for a future appointment, which I find inadequate given the overall experience, and I do not feel comfortable returning.
Overall, I’m very disappointed with the service, quality, and lack of appropriate resolution. I would not recommend this salon based on my experience.
Glowly is one of the best nail salon I have gone to for Russian manicure. I went to them for my first try at this and I always find myself going back. The girls are so nice and treat you like a real client. The service is great even with a Jr tech. Try it if you’re in the area.
had a great experience at Glowly! the process to make an appointment was quick and easy. i also like that they provided the prices upfront so you know how much it is going into it. they really took their time when cleaning your cuticles and the stations are clean. i loved the cat eye french nails that i got. would definitely come again and recommend!
