I cannot say enough good things about Home Instead and all the staff there!! I needed care for my Dad, rather last-minute, due to a recent fall & failing health, and I researched quite a few caregiver agencies in NY. Home Instead had excellent reviews (which are very important to me), and of the several companies I reached out to, they responded immediately.
I was, and continued to be, incredibly impressed with their awesome response time, follow up, and excellent communication. All the way from my initial questions, to paperwork, meeting with my father, and the caretakers they sent-- their professionalism is stellar!! I was always able to get hold of someone immediately, and at all times of the day, and I live in a 6 hour difference time zone!
Their staff is incredible. From their administrative staff, to the caretakers they sent (we had two), they were all so responsive & so kind. I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a reliable, communicative, caring elderly-care agency, with which to entrust the care of your loved one. I am so glad I found them!
Working with Home Instead is a pleasure. We only needed a single day of care so far but it went beautifully. I feel comforted knowing they're always there to easily set us up for the support we need.
I am the owner of NuCare Pharmacy and DME. We share many patients with Home Instead and though we work with so many home care agencies, I can honestly say these guys are the real deal. Their intake process is so thorough that by the time they start care, they are so prepared that their staff knows what to so and once they are in the home with the senior, they are constantly monitoring the seniors and their needs in advance so that their clients and their families are always 2 steps ahead of the game. I know this because they are constantly calling us and ordering supplies and medications well in advance of their client's needs. I highly recommend them
I have been in this feild for 22 years and this is best agency in NY. They are very caring. Tge office staff is so respectful, Angie, Sumaya, Mr. Max, Charles, Balbina, Jastin are always ready to help and assist you. They are the best
This is a self pay home care service and there are probably not enough superlatives I can come up with. We used them for about 7 - 8 months for 24x7 service and there was not a single that she was not covered. We did not have to worry about her medications, eating, laundry or light cleaning. I was sorry we had to move on because I think some of the carers developed a good relationship, and even with early dementia, she came to know them too. They also have a very large "back office" team who are always available for questions or problems.
