One of the bank teller lady was rude, disrespectful, ignorant, impatient and very unprofessional. Actually, it wouldn't be difficult if she explained it patiently, she’d have fired! BTW, she’s working on Tuesday morning shift, everyone should avoided this rude lady who lacks of home education and customer service skills!
Very disappointing. I attempted to contact the Canal Street Main Branch multiple times to schedule an appointment for opening a checking account. The phone was almost never answered, and on the rare occasion I got through, the staff member hung up on me immediately after I simply stated I wanted to open an account, without offering any assistance or explanation.
This level of customer service is shockingly unprofessional and disrespectful. If this is how ICBC treats potential new customers, I can only imagine how current clients are handled.
You’d better never get there! Since this morning, I made a reservation at around 10:30 to open a new CD account, the clerk mostly spoke Cantonese and didn’t give a shit about the person who spoke Mandarin and also English. After waiting for over 20 minutes, I finally decided to come back.
This branch is just a complete joke—super rude, unprofessional, and not helpful at all. Can't even wrap my head around a worse bank. The staff's rude and arrogant for no reason. It's just too much. Feels like they either hate their job or it's not paying the bills. Trying to reach them by phone during work hours? Good luck. Took them over 6 months to fix an issue, and they stayed rude the whole time. I'd say stay away unless you're cool with being treated like garbage.
I have no idea what everyone is talking about as far as negativity goes. This is by the BEST bank and specifically branch I have ever dealt with in my life. The managers and worker have always been so helpful and supportive and go especially well out of their way to help me with all I have ever done personally and professionally.
The staff is especially kind and friendly and ask how I am, how my family is, and how everything is in general. And when applicable they tell me about their work, families, etc, share recent restaurant recommendations in China Town etc. So a wait is never boring or careless.
Truly one of THE BEST BANKS I have EVER dealt with!!!
