Another five-star review for JP Linguistics. Giuliana Zimmerer, my instructor, was excellent in a series of private classes -- enthusiastic, generous, expert, and happy to work around my own demanding schedule. I'll be signing up for 10 more classes with her.
I have had an excellent French learning experience here! JP Linguistics is great at finding out what you want out of the language learning experience and catering to individual interests and learning needs within a small group setting. Through JP Linguistics I am able to keep up my French, something that would have been impossible without a semi-structured group setting.
My friend gave me a gift certificate for the JP Linguistics French classes and it was the best gift I could wish for! I signed up for more classes afterwards. My teacher, Pauline, is wonderful! She's warm and patient, the lessons are always fun, challenging and she switches different methods (speaking, reading, games, discussion of current events, films, etc). I feel more confident speaking, even though I still a lot to learn. Highly recommended!
I have taken foreign language classes at quite a few places, and I’ve had the best experience at JP Linguistics by far. I’ve never made so much progress in such a short period of time!
I was looking for a center that offered both individual and group classes. I often feel self-conscious learning a new language, but the teachers at JPL always made me feel comfortable. They are warm, enthusiastic and great at what they do.
The staff is exceptional not only in the classroom, but outside of it as well. The admin staff are extremely welcoming, accessible, responsive, and helpful. Scheduling is very easy.
The group classes are small and intimate because they cap it at 6 students, giving each student adequate time to learn and practice through personalized teaching.

I've taken 2 courses at JPL (after having a so-so experience at another French school), and I am so happy I found this program! I'm still blown away at how much my French has improved, even after the first few sessions.
JP is a phenomenal teacher. As a native French speaker and linguistics expert, he is incredibly knowledgeable about French language (including slang!) and French culture. He's super friendly and approachable, and brings enthusiasm and positivity to each session. Class sizes are small, so it almost feels like a semi-private French lesson. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to rapidly improve their French in a fun, engaging environment.
