After failing my inspection at the Toyota dealership and declining their outrageously expensive repair quote, I started looking for a trustworthy alternative. I contacted several auto repair shops and ultimately chose L&B because Chris was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable from the first phone call.
I brought my car in on Friday morning, and within a few hours Chris called with his recommendations and a fair, transparent estimate. By later that afternoon, my car was ready.
The service was fast, professional, and reasonably priced. It’s refreshing to find an honest auto repair shop you can trust. I’m thrilled to have found L&B and know I’ll be a loyal customer going forward. Chris is the best!
This place is great. I went for an emissions test and to check my tire was out in about an hour and cost less than I expected.
When I got an insane quote from a certain chain on 4th Ave in order to fix an urgent issue on my older car, I got the recommendation from some neighbors to call L & B and so happy I did. On the phone, Chris quoted half of what the other place was going to charge and was able to turn it around in 24 hours. He kept me in the loop the whole time and it was nice to not to have to worry about how I was going to get screwed or kept waiting for hours on end from the other place. Will be back for all my car maintenance in the future.
After my first experience I knew that I will only be bringing my car to this shop from here on. The owner is a great guy, stands by his work, and a pleasure to deal with. Prices are reasonable and the work is great. Its refreshing to know that I now have a mechanic i can trust. I highly recommend this shop!!
