Learning the violin at little Mozart has been a great experience. The instructor is really professional and tailors the lessons to my learning style. I highly recommend this school to anyone who wants to take lessons seriously.
It's been 18 months since I started training under Ms. Ran, and a few months with other faculty at Little Mozart School of Violin. So far, it's been an incredibly enlightening and enjoyable journey of learning Western classical violin. I admire Ms. Ran's methodical approach to teaching. She genuinely invests in understanding each student's unique needs and challenges. Every class has transformed my playing, helping me improve my pitch, rhythm, and tonality. Moreover, her extensive background in Western classical music provides valuable insights into the ideal sound of the violin.
Ran has been teaching my daughter (and now son too) for many years. She is an exceptional violin teacher who in addition to great expertise in violin also has the unique skill of patiently working with young kids. My daughter started with Ran when she was 5 years old, Now competitively participating (and winning) in music competitions, Ran has been very instrumental in her music journey. We would highly recommend her and very grateful for her efforts.
I cannot speak highly enough about Ran as a violin instructor. From the very first lesson, it was clear that she possesses not only an incredible mastery of the violin but also a true passion for teaching. Her approach is both patient and encouraging, making each lesson a perfect blend of challenge and fun.
Ran has a gift for breaking down complex techniques into manageable steps, and her attention to detail has dramatically improved my son's playing in ways I never thought possible. Ran's dedication to her students is evident in the thoughtful feedback, the structured yet flexible lesson plans, and the ongoing encouragement to grow as both a musician and an individual.
Ran has been nothing but an amazing teacher to my 8 year old daughter for the last couple of years. We started with another violin teacher who moved and then tried another one before, and we have never looked back since we found Ran.
Ran is a perfect mix of kind/stern/fun, artistic/technical, and encouraging/pushing forward. She is great with kids and knows how to motivate properly, and cares deeply. My daughter has made amazing progress and continues to grow and mature as a violin player and enjoys playing!
Ran also holds recitals for her students regularly to get them comfortable performing in front of an audience. As a piano player myself, I cannot recommend Ran enough!
