Love Luxxor! A large group of us essentially took over the salon a couple weekends ago to get our hair and makeup done for a large “fantasy black-tie” NYC wedding. The salon was extremely accommodating and everyone was so nice! I didn’t get my makeup done, but those who did looked gorgeous! Ricky did my hair and he was wonderful and fun to chat with while sipping a complimentary mimosa :). He wasn’t alerted that I had clip-in extensions I wanted to use for my hairstyle, which take more time than he had allotted, but he made time for me and I teared up when he showed me the result (see photo)! I don’t live in NYC, but I will definitely go back if I ever need hair or makeup done there in the future. Thank you so much to the salon and especially my new bestie, Ricky!
Luxxor is everything you could want in a hair salon. I had a full highlight and cut with Alan who worked seamlessly with Ricky and created pure magic. The full highlights they did are incredibly natural. I've struggled at other salons to get this exact look—dimensional, blended, and sun-kissed—but they nailed it. It looks like my hair just naturally catches the light perfectly, not like it was dyed. The cut frames my face beautifully and has such movement.
The ambiance of the location is beautiful; the decor is chic and luxurious without feeling intimidating. The space itself is also warm and inviting. In total, Alan and Ricky create a truly welcoming and relaxing environment. It felt like a true treat and less like a typical appointment. If you are looking for top-tier quality, unmatched skill, and a truly lovely salon experience, you must book with them.
Alan and Ricky were the most welcoming. Not only was this the best my hair has ever turned out from a going-blonde salon experience, but the whole process felt so soothing. THE DETAILS TO EVERYTHING!

This salon is amazing! They made me and my partner, who kindly sat 5 hours while I got my hair done, feel so welcome! Everyone was so wonderful and Alan made my hair look amazing! He was super thorough and explained everything I needed to know about getting a fashion color. Maycon was super attentive and really made sure I was comfortable. It's a bit on the pricey side but honestly super worth it for the experience. My partner even said that while he's not the kind of person to really splurge on salons, he would definitely come here before a special occasion. Will definitely be back!
