I first connected with Dr. Mark Rybakov in June 2022 during an extremely stressful and complicated period in my life and just recently worked with him again in May 2026 for a follow-up evaluation. I honestly can’t say enough good things about him. Throughout my experiences with him, he has always been extremely professional, compassionate, direct, thorough, responsive, and easy to talk to. He creates a very comfortable environment where you feel heard and taken seriously, not judged or rushed.
One thing I really appreciate is that he’s grounded and practical in the way he approaches things. He listens carefully, asks thoughtful questions, and takes the time to fully understand complex situations instead of jumping to conclusions. In my case, there were a lot of moving parts and stressful circumstances involved, and he was able to evaluate everything thoroughly and objectively while still being compassionate and supportive.
One of the things that stood out to me most is how seriously he takes his work. He is very attentive to detail and approaches everything in a calm, objective, and thoughtful way. He listens carefully before forming conclusions and never makes you feel judged, dismissed or unheard. He is direct and honest, but also compassionate and genuinely supportive.
My situation involved a lot of complicated circumstances and sensitive issues, and I appreciated that he approached everything carefully and professionally. I have previously sought services with other mental health providers whose evaluations and services were not viewed as credible or sufficient within the context of court proceedings, which created additional stress and uncertainty for me. Working with Dr. Rybakov was completely different. His evaluations were thorough, professional, credible, and recognized appropriately within strict discretion of the judge during court proceedings when necessary, which gave me a great deal of reassurance during a very difficult time.
Dr. Rybakov is also incredibly responsive and reliable. His turnaround time is fast, he offers telehealth visits which have been very important and convenient for me, and he’s always been accessible when something urgent came up. You really get the feeling that he genuinely cares about his patients and goes above and beyond when needed. I also appreciate the flexibility he offers with appointments and the fact that he makes himself available when situations require timely attention.
What also stands out is his level of expertise and professionalism. He’s knowledgeable, insightful, and clearly experienced in dealing with a wide range of mental health concerns and complex evaluations. Even though he ultimately determined that I did not require ongoing psychiatric treatment or medication, he still took my concerns seriously and made sure I had support and guidance available if I ever needed it.
It’s rare to find a psychiatrist who is both highly competent and genuinely human, but Dr. Rybakov is exactly that. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a thoughtful, experienced, responsive, and compassionate psychiatrist.

I’ve had a really positive experience with Dr. Rybakov. He’s been easy to communicate with both over email and during sessions, which makes the whole process feel smooth and supportive. He’s a great listener and takes the time to understand your specific situation, creating a treatment plan that feels thoughtful and personalized rather than one-size-fits-all. I also really appreciate his non-judgmental approach—it makes it much easier to be open and comfortable. Highly recommend.
Dr. Rybakov is by far the best psychiatrist I’ve had, and I’ve had many! He is warm, understanding, and worked with me to create a treatment plan that has been life changing. I look forward to working with him for many years to come.
