I went to this pharmacy twice to have a prescription filled and had the original physical prescription with me both times.
During my first visit, the pharmacist told me the prescription had expired and that I needed to get a new one from my doctor’s office. I went back to the doctor’s office and picked up a new prescription as instructed.
When I returned to the pharmacy this morning to drop off the new prescription, the pharmacist accused me of bringing a fake prescription. I immediately offered for him to call my doctor’s office to verify it, but he refused. Instead, he was extremely rude, dismissive, and asked me to leave the pharmacy.
I was embarrassed in front of his employee and made to feel like I was lying and trying to scam the pharmacy. His behavior was disrespectful, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable.
I was simply trying to fill a legitimate prescription and followed exactly what I was told to do. No customer should be treated this way, especially in a medical setting where professionalism and respect are essential. I would like this matter to be taken seriously and properly addressed.
I switched to NuCare when I saw I could get my meds for cheaper here than CVS. Now, I would gladly pay a premium to get them filled exclusively at NuCare. The pharmacy staff is so kind and they’ve helped me out when my doctor is being unresponsive. I hope I never have to go back to CVS or Walgreens!
It has taken weeks to get my ostomy supplies (I still dont have them) and their answer to every call is "I will send an email to expedite this" except they dont. I had to spend 4 hours on the phone to do the job of Healthfirst, Integra Healthcare Partners and NuCare all over a code. None of the three cared that I am wirhout supplies and I am filing a complaint with the Americans with Disabilities Act for all 3 companies. Do better. If it was their own mother I bet theyd have followed up. Well I am a mother and grandmother who worked her whole life, show me the same respect you would expect people to show your own mother. I am requesting that Integra remove me from this pharmacy for a more reliable pharmacy. I have had this ostomy 12 years and have never experienced the level of dismissal and disregard as a disabled person. They clearly do not recognize the importance of durable supplies and should not be in the business.
Terrible company. Do not use this company for your medical supplies. Worst company to deal with. They don’t care if you need the supplies for life. Every time you call them you get a different answer. They have a bunch of excuses to not give you the supplies even you have approval from the insurance. The insurance provided all the documents but every time you call they tell you they don’t have it or they tell you the processing team is looking into this. It has been weeks of back and forth with this company and we are going no where with this.
This pharmacy is not reliable when it comes to patients’ health and wellness. I am a Type 1 diabetic, and every single month I have to fight with them just to have my Dexcom shipped out on time. They bill my insurance immediately, yet they do not ship my supplies until they feel like it—or until I call and chase them down. This should be an automatic recurring shipment, and it never is.
I receive only three Dexcom sensors per month, and by the time they decide to ship them, my current sensor is often already two days expired. That means I am going to bed with no blood sugar readings, not knowing whether my sugar might drop dangerously low in my sleep. Because of their negligence, I am forced to wake up repeatedly throughout the night to finger-stick myself just to monitor my glucose levels. This is not only stressful—it is dangerous.
This pharmacy has shown me repeatedly that they do not care about patients’ health—only about collecting money from insurance companies.
For example:
• On December 2nd, they texted me saying my prescription was ready.
• My Dexcom ended on December 5th.
• I called on the 5th asking why I still hadn’t received it. They claimed they were “preparing for shipping” and that my insurance had just approved it—which was a lie, because they had already notified me on Dec 2nd that it was ready.
• I called again Saturday and was told again it wasn’t shipped yet, but they would “speak to the mail guy” to have it delivered Sunday.
• Sunday came—nothing.
• My Dexcom is already expired.
• I called again Monday morning. They apologized and told me it was “out for delivery” and would arrive that day.
• Monday passed—still nothing.
• Today is Tuesday, December 9th, and I am still without a sensor, still without readings, and now my insulin pump cannot provide automated insulin delivery because it has no glucose data.
This is extremely disappointing. After months and months of dealing with the same negligence, I finally decided to write this review—something I normally never do. But people need to know how dangerous this level of unreliability is for someone living with Type 1 diabetes or other conditions.
They never fail to charge your insurance on time, but they fail every month to ship your medication when your health depends on it. Completely unacceptable. I truly wish zero stars were an option.
