Phil is the absolute best---responsive, a technical expert, an artist. I inherited a Heywood Wakefield table from a beloved aunt and Phil was absolutely game to assess it, fix the issues I created by trying to work on it myself (whoops), and help make suggestion to modernize it without sacrificing any of the quality. Phil stripped, sanded, and did top notch finishing of the beautiful table and he was so communicative along the way. He also gave me a 'hand's on' tutorial of how to care from it, so I left with a beautiful table AND feeling totally empowered re: caring for it and helping to make sure it stays a family heirloom for a long time.
