I give Power Market 5 stars for several reasons. Whenever I have any questions, I receive communication to clarify almost immediately. The administration is always so helpful, personable, courteous, caring and patient with me, an elderly woman. They are quick to explain, clarify, and make sure my questions and concerns are taken care of. Also, my electricity bill has been lowered and the power market bill is very reasonable. I was afraid it all would be too much but I love saving energy and found it is an excellent and reasonable choice for me. As I say, I have nothing but good to say about Power Market and their staff.

I signed up with this company through NRG to "offset" electric costs. After 9 months of being in their program there was an accounting mistake and they refunded my money, and said we would need to start over with thr billong cycle but would let me pay it off a little each month. After 6 more months of billing issues I finally called National Grid my provider and they told me I was NOT receiving any solar credits at all from anyone. I fought and fought (many unanswered calls, voicemails and emails) with powermarket for 6 months sending in all my National Grid bills and they agreed I was owed a refund check. I received the refund check for the amount I was owed. I shut down my account and 1 year later I just got a call the other day that I owed them $1,200. On an account that I no longer have and a service I never received. This company is a SCAM company.

If i could give 0 stars i would!
Send people out several times (4 to 5 times i had someone at my home) to my house to save money on our cmp bill but never state you'll end up paying even more later for this so called service. Saying were apart of cmp the solar stuff an that it will save money to your cmp account because weve been paying more for this solar farm but yeah just got slammed with two bills 6 months later an cant even wave them you have to pay them or even say well pay this much an to make up for the bogus claims of saving money! If youd say id have to pay anything at all id said no but being annoyed you send out that many people to basically hound us to sign up to "save" money is ridiculous. Not happy what so ever! Oh an being told if we dont pay itll be outstanding bill an will go to collections. The most scammiest behavior ever
One thing I learned always turn any of these people down no matter how many times.they come to your house!

I would recommend steering clear of PowerMarket. Due to an error on their end, I was dual enrolled and ended up over-generating solar credits, which have since expired.

It’s frustrating that a service advertised to save me money ended up costing me more. When I reached out for help, their support rep, Diana, was unhelpful and placed the blame on me instead of taking responsibility for their mistake.

I've been a PowerMarket customer for years...first when we lived in a house, and then again when we downsized into our condo. It is the easiest and most efficient way to participate in solar and get savings immediately. No upfront investment, no installing solar panels, no switching service providers, and no dealing with your utility provider. It is literally that easy.....sign up and save on your bill. They do all the background stuff on the community solar projects and work with the utility companies. They get credit back for the electric generation and then pass the savings on to you. There is no separate billing. We just see a 10% discount on our monthly electric bill. Seamless and hassle-free. I couldn't believe how easy it was when we first signed up. As a bonus...their customer service is also professional and courteous...actually really nice to deal with. I definitely recommend them.
