LIMEWASH PERFECTION! This is my second review because I have hired Jose and his team two times now for various painting projects in my NYC apartment. The first project was traditional paint, and this review is for lime wash that they just did in my home office/guestroom. The lime washed room is my favorite room in my entire apartment. It is so incredibly calming, and so soothing, and every time I have a guest over they never want to leave. It has inspired other people to lime wash their apartments as well. And as I write this review, I am preparing for Jose and his team to come and redo my bedroom in a lime wash finish as well. Lime wash is pricier than traditional finish paint, However, it is a remarkable difference in texture, aesthetic, appearance, and the overall mood/vibe of your room. They came in and repaired multiple areas of damage from me attempting to hang shelves on my walls, Took the curtains down, took all the fixtures off, and prepared the wall by making sure they were perfectly smooth and even, which, you would be surprised how much they weren't, but that is a true testament to the meticulous work that Pristine Painters NYC does. After that, they did the basecoat and then two coats of lime wash, and then they finished it with traditional finish paint - color matched to match the lime wash which went on the ceiling, trims, and doors. They reinstalled all of the hardware, door handles, re-hung the curtains, and made sure everything was perfect. And that is why I will hire them for every Painting project that I do.
They are dependable, seamless, and I do not have to worry about anything. All of the professional painters on his team are kind, respectable of my home environment, efficient, and highly skilled at what they do.
I know there’s a lot of painters in the NYC area, and I have hired task rabbits for other jobs, and I have tried to do it myself many times, but nothing can compare to having Pristine Painters NYC come in and do what they are so good at doing.
The quality of the painting done by Pristine Painters is top notch! The customer service experience was attentive and consistent. They were a great vendor to work within a commercial space. They worked efficiently as a team and were adaptable to any changes that were necessary.
I would highly recommend them for any future painting projects.
One of the best experiences I ever had with a contractor. I made an appointment and Jose was at my house basically the next day. He gave us an estimate that broke down every part of the house I needed it painted so we could find a solution that best worked with our budget. All in all the price was very fair and included the price of labor and the paint. He and his workers were always very punctual, polite, and professional. The work they did was well done and our walls look great. They left the house as clean as a job can be done. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again.
Jose and his team went above and beyond to help me quickly for the opening of my museum. He was very professional and guided me in all the right directions for a picture perfect finish.
They did an outstanding job. We had multiple issues that needed correcting. We had previously textured walls, water damage in multiple locations, and peeling paint from previous jobs completed poorly by our building management. The entire apartment was skim coated then painted. We had a couple of unforeseen issues that extended the job. We were grateful that they were able to accommodate our scheduling issues. We expect to live with this paint job for the next twenty years.
