I got tired of listening to a small stereo with no bass and started looking for a real HiFi store. I couldn’t find anything except chain stores until a friend gave me Rob’s number. We had a long conversation where he asked detailed questions about what I wanted and my budget, which immediately made me feel comfortable.
The following Sunday I drove to Brooklyn to visit the studio and listen to a system he put together for me. Rob was extremely patient with my many questions and worked through several setup changes to get the sound closer to what I wanted. I learned a lot about how serious audio systems work during the process.
I ended up purchasing a system built around Bowers & Wilkins 802 speakers along with McIntosh components and AudioQuest cables. The speakers were used but the rest of the equipment was new, and the ability to upgrade later made the decision much easier. Delivery and payment were smooth and professional.
What really stood out is that Rob continued to help even after the sale. He kept looking for upgrades that fit my goals and eventually found me a pair of B&W 800 D3 speakers, taking my 802s in on trade and giving me a very fair number. Later we also upgraded the amplification.
Through everything—including a fire at the studio—Rob stayed in touch and remained committed to helping me build the system I really wanted.
Today I have an incredible system with amazing power and sound. Huge thanks to Rob and Resolution Audio Visual for the patience, honesty, and dedication.

RAV is the absolute best! I bought my Devore Orangutan O/93 speakers from them and they helped me to set them up perfectly in my UWS apartment. Next up I upgraded my phono cartridge to a DynaVector 10x5 LOW which was their recommendation. It sounds AMAZING with my Rega Planar3 and my Pro-Ject Tube Box DS2 phono preamp which they also helped me configure properly, and then going through my Line Magnetic 218IA tube power amp. Scott took a lot of time getting to know me and my tastes and budget and my system so that he could recommend exactly the right gear and help me tune everything in. Wonderful guys and a great shop! Don't go anywhere else for hifi gear!!
