SelectCare Home Health Care

I have not used their services, but I recently called to get answers & information around setting up in-home care for my elderly father. I spoke with Carla and she was truly amazing - empathetic, very patient with all my questions, and provided a great deal of valuable insight that I simply didn't know about this entire process. She provided illuminating information that I never would've thought to research or even ask about. If her demeanor and professionalism are any indication of the kind of care you will receive here, then I cannot recommend SelectCare highly enough.

Team SelectCare was professional, caring and went above the call of duty meeting the needs of my parents. Because of SelectCare both of my parents had the dignity to pass in there own home. Dad lived until 92 in his own home only because of the team of caregivers. Mom who was wheelchair bound for over 6 years had the dignity of being able to pass at 94 in her own home. You could not ask for any more or any better from any home health care provider. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Just one call to Carla put this all in motion.

I highly recommend SelectCare. Kelly and Carla and their excellent team of carers looked after my mother during the final 4 years of her life. I lived 3000 miles away from my mother, and initially I wanted someone to help a few hours a day with some of my mother’s daily healthcare needs, as independent living was becoming more challenging for her and I wanted my mother to be able to remain comfortable in her own home. As my mother’s health declined, SelectCare adapted their service from a few hours eventually to 24/7. The SelectCare carers provided friendship and companionship so that my mother did not feel lonely. Kelly was very communicative, responsive and supportive. I don’t know what I would have done without SelectCare and I cannot thank them enough.

I had the great fortune of being introduced to Select Care by some social workers that I know. Select Care is so good at what they do and from the nurse's first assessment visit I knew we were working with true professionals. The aides that were put on the case were wonderful and the care plan that was created was so through, I was really impressed. Carla and Kelly run a great agency and are always available to talk and guide you. I am a social worker myself and cannot recommend them enough!

After a hospital and rehab stay, my husband needed more help than I could provide. Thank goodness for SelectCare. We had excellent caregivers 6 days a week during the day to help with "daily living" issues. All the caregivers were caring and kind and wonderful. They learned my husband's preferences and were able to deal with his changing moods. It was such a relief for me. We used SelectCare over 6 months until my husband was hospitalized again.
Besides the excellent caregivers, the director, Carla Holub, was most helpful and supportive in dealing with insurance issues and things we needed to make my husband comfortable.
