I finally passed my road test thanks to this driving school! I’ve been trying to get my license since 2023, took a hiatus, and picked it back up this year.
As an anxious driver, I knew there was no easy way around it other than getting more practice, and this school has been incredibly flexible with me. The instructors are so helpful and will completely customize the lesson plan to focus on whatever maneuvers you need to work on most. And constantly remind you of good driving habits so you don't get flagged during road exam.
Tip for anyone buying the beginner or intermediate packages: You’ll be driving around the NYU area. It looks chaotic and noisy at first, but I promise it’s not as bad as it seems.
Road test site they drive you to is Red Hook.
I cannot emphasize how helpful and amazing this school is. Took my first test with a different school, and totally failed. I took two lessons here and passed very easily! The instructors are knowledgeable, have great tips, and are great teachers. Highly recommend! Totally turned around my driving experience and made me feel super confident.
I highly recommend Soho Driving School! I took a lesson with Ginny just a few days before my road test, and she was absolutely wonderful. She was incredibly nice, patient, and taught me exactly what I needed to know to succeed. Thanks to her precise guidance, I passed my test today! If you have a road test coming up, definitely use Soho Driving school assistance
I got one class and the road test with them and the experience has been excellent. They have been very supportive in reschedule my road test because I felt uncomfortable with weather conditions and also helped me all along in scheduling my driving class. Gini (dunno if it’s spelled correctly) has been a great instructor during my class and also before the test, giving all the tips and infusing confidence.
I can’t recommend more. The best quality-price option in the city for me.
Just got a call from SoHo Driving School saying that I’ve passed my road test and it was my first try. I’m so thankful for my instructor Gini, I was lucky to have her as my instructor. I had 4 sessions with them and she was always super supportive and helpful throughout my journey.
Would highly recommend this school as well as Gini ;)
