We are so grateful to Kylie at Speech in Bloom for the incredible work she did with our son, Nico. When Nico was about a year and a half old, he hadn’t said a single word yet, and we were starting to worry. Kylie immediately made us feel supported and hopeful from the very first session.
Her warmth, patience, and expertise made such a difference. She knew exactly how to engage Nico through play and encouragement, and she also gave us practical tools we could use at home every day. Little by little we started hearing words… and now at two years old, Nico truly won’t stop talking!
Watching him blossom into such a chatty, expressive little boy has been amazing, and we know so much of that progress is thanks to Kylie. If you’re looking for a thoughtful, talented speech language pathologist who genuinely cares about the kids and families she works with, we can’t recommend Speech in Bloom highly enough. Our experience with Speech in Bloom has been fantastic from the start. We were introduced to Lera through our son's preschool about six months ago, and from there were able to set up an evaluation for our son very promptly. The evaluation was conveniently conducted at his school with no disruption to his usual routine.
Since then, our son has been working with Kylie, who has been absolutely wonderful. Her expertise has helped him find his footing and gain confidence in his speech development, and we’ve been so pleased to see him meet his individual goals. The sessions have also made a real difference in how he navigates big feelings and challenging situations.
Our son looks forward to his sessions with Kylie at school, and it gives us great peace of mind knowing he feels comfortable and supported. Communication with Kylie has been easy and consistent, and she always shares helpful tips and areas for us to continue working on at home.

We were connected to Speech in Bloom by receiving a response to a post on a Facebook parenting group. After an evaluation with Lera, we started speech therapy sessions at home twice a week. Lera and Carol were very responsive and helpful in getting conditional approval from our insurance company to partially cover the out of pocket cost. Without this, we would not have been able to continue with the sessions for as long as we did.
We had the pleasure of working with Savannah, who was so warm, friendly, and engaging right from the start. She was able to get our son out of his shell by letting him lead the sessions and supporting his language and speech through play. Our son would look forward to the mornings when Savannah came. After each session, she would give us specific areas to focus on with him to help build his skills. We are certain that our son's intelligibility and speech improved as a direct result of his coaching by Savannah.
We are incredibly grateful to Lera, Carol, and Savannah for working with our family. Our son had a much easier transition into 3K because he had developed foundational language skills.

EXCELLENT AND EFFECTIVE THERAPISTS! My daughter has been working with Lera and her team for almost 4 years. Within a few months I definitely saw improvements with my daughter's speech development. She is so gentle and encouraging and really helped my daughter open up. She was one of the only therapists I encountered who really took a deep dive to understand my daughter's speech difficulties. She tailored a treatment plan for my daughter's unique needs. I have been so impressed with her team (Leigh and Julie), including feeding therapist (Kimberly). They have provided very well-rounded care for my daughter and I will be forever grateful!
Lera is a very caring and attentive therapist. My son, who is 4 years old, had his first speech therapy with her and, from the beginning, felt very comfortable. We were lucky to find her since we wanted an evaluation and therapy in Spanish. Lera was very accurate, and she talked to us about everything that needed to be worked on and the options we had, which made us trust her. My son made great progress and is always happy and willing to learn in his therapies.
