Angela Abernathy is a rockstar, and so is her amazing team! They made sure I was comfortable throughout my entire visit and were extremely attentive to my needs. That’s a top priority for me whenever I’m seeing any type of healthcare provider. They took the time to reassure me every step of the way and made sure any discomfort was addressed promptly.
What stood out most was that the appointment never felt rushed. Angela took the time to listen, answer my questions, and explain everything thoroughly. As an added bonus, I loved being under the care of a woman of color. Seeing myself represented in healthcare made the experience even more meaningful and comfortable. I truly appreciated the welcoming and inclusive environment that Angela and her team created.
Their compassion, professionalism, and dedication to patient care truly stood out. I highly recommend Angela and her team to anyone looking for exceptional dental care. ⭐
I’ve now had three visits at Tend Wall Street and unfortunately each one has had issues with timing and overall experience.
First visit: I arrived on time and waited nearly 30 minutes to be seen.
Second visit: My appointment (and my partner’s) was rescheduled the morning of with little notice, and we still had to wait once we arrived.
Third visit (most recent): My appointment was moved earlier the night before. I said that wouldn’t work, was given a 9:30am slot, and still wasn’t seen until after 10:00am, with the hygienist starting closer to 10:15am.
I understand delays happen, but three visits in a row starts to feel like a pattern. It’s especially frustrating given how much emphasis is placed on patients being on time.
The appointment itself ended up taking close to three hours (for a simple cleaning, no procedures), most of which was waiting due to delays, X-ray issues, and gaps between steps. It took up my entire morning.
Staff were kind and clearly doing their best, but it feels like they’re dealing with an overbooked system. I also didn’t receive some of the amenities that are usually part of the experience (never offered the TV perk they constantly push)
To add to the frustration, I explicitly asked not to have a follow-up appointment booked and planned to schedule myself later. Despite that, they booked anyway for a random date and random time (middle of the day tuesday).
Overall, this hasn’t matched the level of experience Tend promotes. Hoping this feedback is taken seriously, because right now I’m considering switching providers.
I had an excellent experience at this dental office today. From the front desk to the clinical team, everyone was professional, welcoming, and organized. The entire visit was smooth and stress-free.
My cleaning was done by Dental Hygienist Shacore Graham, and he was absolutely fantastic. He was gentle, thorough, and very attentive throughout the entire appointment. He explained what he was doing, made sure I was comfortable, and gave helpful advice for maintaining my dental health. His professionalism and calm demeanor truly stood out.
The dentist was equally impressive. He was knowledgeable, patient, and took the time to carefully review everything with me. He answered my questions clearly and made sure I understood my dental health plan moving forward. I never felt rushed — just well cared for.
This office truly delivers exceptional service and quality care. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a dental team that is both skilled and genuinely caring!
Love Tend. I typically go to the Cobble Hill location, but decided to go to this one because it is closer to work. I don’t regret it at all. The dentist was amazing and the dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth was very patient and had a relaxed hand. The environment is great. The people who work there are really nice. The offices are clean and modern. Tend really turns going to the dentist an awesome experience.
The dentist did recommend I get some dental work done related to the crowding of my two k9s- potentially looking at Invisalign. But she wasn’t pushy about it, at all.
Decided to try a new dentist and found Tend. I went for my 6-months dental cleaning and had a great experience. The check in process was very quick and smooth. They gave me a toothbrush and toothpaste (also got an electronic toothbrush as part of their current promotion) and had me sit and wait. I only had to wait for a minute. The dental hygienist and dentist were both very friendly, and the room was very clean. The hygienist started the process with taking X-rays first, then did the cleaning, and then I met with the dentist to walk through the X-rays. They also let you choose which show you want to watch while you’re getting your procedure done, but given the light is right above you, it’s a bit pointless to watch but they do give you headphones so you can hear the tv. They also ask which toothpaste flavor you want to try (vanilla bean, watermelon or sparkling mint). I tried vanilla bean and it was very subtle. Already scheduled my next dental cleaning!
