I cannot recommend Dani and her team enough. Our dog had gone through other training, including a multi-week program away from home and nothing stuck. After one session with Dani, we saw a difference and after several, he is a new dog in the best way. Everyone in our lives comments on how well behaved he is now, and the noticeable before and after. Dani, THANK YOU!!

When my 7 year old dog started acting out, I reached out Urban K-9. Natasha was very helpful taking time to observe my dog in different settings and giving me techniques to practice. I’ve seen I real difference in how my dog reacts and now feel like I have the right tools to handle any situation. I highly recommend.

Natasha is the GOAT. We've been working with her for over a year now. She has helped our family navigate a challenging (and idiosyncratic) doggy personality. She has taught us methods for managing our spirited dog in an apartment with two small children; and we've seen massive improvement since we started working with her.

Natasha is smart, funny, and is always willing to troubleshoot when new issues arise. She know the BK dog community and has made fantastic recommendations for walkers, dog sitters, and vets. We are big fans and would recommend Natasha to anyone looking for a thoughtful, reliable trainer.

We loved working with Natasha! We did a 5 pack of training and was the best investment we made when we adopted our puppy. Each session she came with a plan of certain techniques to work on, but also came ready to listen to what has been going on and always had answers and suggestions for things to try. We feel so much more comfortable as dog owners now. 10/10 will recommend working with Natasha to any new dog parent!!!

A woman walking a well behaved hound dog in Prospect Park told my husband about Urban K-9. After reaching out to Dani about training for our 1.5yo Treeing Walker Coonhound, who had become leash reactive and visitor reactive, I’ll admit I was skeptical when Dani explained that her training, while rooted in positive reinforcement included balanced training methods as well, something she suggested was essential for our breed.
Fast forward several months later — we ended up doing two cycles of training with all the lessons building upon one another, starting with learning to walk properly on a leash and not reacting to dogs or people like a crazy, and visitor reactivity, followed by a focus on recall — and I can’t say enough good things about Dani and Urban K-9.

I had literally been at a point where 1) I was dreading every walk and 2) I felt like I’d never be able to have friends over.
I now love my walks with Hubie, and my husband and I are comfortable having people over to the house.
Plus, Hubie and I have continued to make progress in recall. Dani offered to do a beach training run with her dog, Daisy, and Hubie did great! I’ve since taken him to the beach and am building up to off-leash hours in Prospect Park. He was trained with an e-collar, another tool I was adamantly against, but lately I barely need to activate it; it’s enough for Hubie to just wear it.

Prior to working with Dani, I’d done a couple of sessions with a positive reinforcement only trainer, and I did not feel like she understood the breed and the kind of training required to keep him safe and well behaved.

My bond with Hubie was strong prior to working with Dani, but it’s so much stronger now. Hubie likes the training, he likes making good choices, and we are all better because of our relationship with Urban K-9.
