To all the new parents out there on the fence about Vivvi vs. another daycare vs. a nanny… I enthusiastically, wholeheartedly recommend Vivvi. I give it a 12 out of 10. Every single person who works there is so kind and professional, and they take incredible care of our daughter.
We get photos all day long, and her teachers always have such fun, creative activities planned for them during the day (even in our daughter’s infant class). Our 9 month old lights up every day we arrive to Vivvi, and you can just tell the rest of the kids are excited to be there.
The location itself is clean, bright, and airy, and you won’t find better hours anywhere else in the city. We wouldn’t even consider moving to another apartment that wasn’t close to a Vivvi.
From the very first day, we knew we had found a place that not only meets but exceeds every expectation. We enrolled our child at Vivvi when she was only 4-months old and have been blown away by the incredible impact that Vivvi has had on her growth and development. The Vivvi teachers and staff make it their mission to know each child personally, ensuring that their unique needs are met. The activities are thoughtfully designed to encourage curiosity and creativity, whether it's through hands-on learning, storytelling, or interactive play. Our child has learned valuable interpersonal skills—how to share, communicate, and collaborate with others. Overall, Vivvi has been instrumental in our child’s growth and we could not recommend this daycare enough.
Vivvi has been a cornerstone in my son’s life since he started there as a six-month-old. Now, at 2.5, I can clearly see the impact of their thoughtful curriculum and nurturing environment. My son is curious, confident, and—if I’m being honest—further along in his abilities compared to some of his peers in traditional daycare settings or with nannies. I truly believe this is because of the “Vivvi difference.”
The teachers at Vivvi don’t just care for the children—they see them. Serena, the head of school, is exceptional: hands-on, approachable, and deeply committed to every family. The owners, Charlie and Ben, aren’t distant figures—they’re actively involved in the community, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere. I’ve even met an incredible group of parents, and now our kids have regular playdates after school and on weekends.
Recently, my son and I experienced a deeply traumatic event. In that moment, Vivvi became so much more than a school. The owners, leadership, teachers, and entire community were a lifeline. Their compassion, love, and unwavering support carried us through one of the hardest times of our lives, and for that, I will always be grateful.
Choosing where to send your child can feel overwhelming. I know I made the right choice with Vivvi. It’s not just a school—it’s a family. I feel incredibly lucky to have found them, and I can’t imagine a better place for my child to grow, learn, and thrive.
Our 3.5 year old daughter started Vivvi at 8 months old and has stayed through pre-school. Our 6 month old daughter started Vivvi at 5 months old. The teachers are amazing, engaging, smart, kind and loving. The classrooms are bright, cheerful, clean and organized. Both of my daughters thrive there. Why hire one nanny when you can have an entire team of A+ professionals teaching and caring for your children every day? We love the community of parents and friends we've met along the way. 10/10 recommend. It's the best early learning facility in NYC.
First time parents here and we absolutely LOVE everything about Vivvi. I started my daughter here at 9 months old and was very anxious about leaving her. We started with only 3 days and after 2 weeks, watching her thrive and love her school day, we increased to 5 days :) The teaching team is very communicative and extremely tuned in to the needs of each student. We receive updates throughout the day through an app. My husband loves this because he says he feels like he's "next to her all day"! The space is beautiful, clean, bright, and open. Even in the height of the pandemic we have felt safe and secure sending our daughter here. I am thrilled that we found Vivvi.
