One of those places where they do a poor job and somehow make you feel you should be grateful. As if you weren’t paying for the service they are providing. The woman that works there is incredibly rude. It was already bad that they didn’t have my clothes ready on the day they said they were going to, on top of that I had to take her attitude?! Give me a break!
Stopped in here because I needed emergency tailoring on my tie, and Brian was all too good to help me out. Easy fix and didn’t have to wait. Check them out for all of your dry cleaning needs in lower Manhattan. Thanks guys!
This is the third time I’ve visited this company. I’d used their tailor twice and thought the work was very good. I had three items which had multiple stains, and I thought this business may do a better job than my usual dry cleaners. Anyway, as I was in the process of pointing out all the stains I found on my garments, which is normal, SINCE THIS IS AN ASPECT OF THE DRY CLEANING BUSINESS. The man who was working there said he couldn’t guarantee anything. I told him I understood. Then I proceeded to continue pointing out stains, at which point he literally, and I mean verbatim, told me that I “must be a hard woman to please” because I was being so specific about the stains on my clothing. Yes, really. Then he motioned for his female counterpart to take over and he left. Then he abruptly returned and waved us away to another counter with a sweeping arm gesture. I am not embellishing anything about my experience.
I was never unpleasant and smiled and thanks them both on my way out. He scowled at me. This is some of the worse customer service I’ve ever experienced.
When visiting NYC from Australia for a week and staying at a downtown hotel (financial district), we didn’t want to use the exorbitant hotel laundry service as our family of four had a lot of washing. We walked past West Broadway Cleaners, so decided to give it a go.
We found their service a high quality, price very reasonable and they also delivered the clothes back to the hotel the same day (if dropped off early).
I would not hesitate in recommending them.
I have been a regular customer at West Broadway cleaners since I moved to the neighborhood four years ago. For the most part I have been very happy with the service, especially with the regular delivery man, Alberto. He is very friendly and always with a positive attitude and even helped me bring my bags upstairs one time when he saw that I was having a bad day. This is why when I saw him today with his busted up laundry cart, I was appalled because he works so hard and deserves an upgrade!!! We all know it can be difficult walking all day on NYC streets and he needs a smoother, new cart. His boss needs to buy him one! He deserves a raise too! Thanks to Alberto and West Broadway for all your hard work.
