Excellent service by the entire team from the initial reception to the different steps of the eye exam that involved some state of the art machines to Dr Hakim’s detailed analysis and professionalism
Could not have gone better 🙏
A bit disappointed at my experience here.
I came in for an annual exam and was told there was an additional $70 for ocular screening. I asked if I could skip it and was told that since I was using insurance the eye exam needed to include this screening either by dilation (free) with the downside of some blurriness or the optical scan ($70). I told them I was fine with the side effects and chose dilation. The tech and the doctor then stand a few feet away from me (behind a divider) and start complaining about having to do dilation and making fun of me. I felt uncomfortable for the rest of the eye exam and the doctor made multiple comments about how long the dilation was taking (there were no other patients at this time and the dilation exam seemed to take only a few minutes of her time).
I find it frustrating 1) that the free option wasn’t presented until I had asked and 2) that the staff acted as though I had done something wrong by going with dilation (a seemingly normal part of eye exams I’ve had in the past) instead of the $70 option
Just visited West Village Eye care's new outpost on LaGuardia Place. Lovely, nicely appointed modern office.
The team is absolutely wonderful. Very professional,very accommodating and caring. They used state of the art equipment to evaluate the health of your eyes. Doctor Serhrouchni was extremely informative and thorough. Soft jazz was playing throughout.
Overall it was the most pleasant visit.
I would highly recommend West Village Eyecare for any and all eye associated needs.
I hadn't been to a routine eye exam since 2022, been looking for a optometrist for some time that I felt comfortable with. I genuinely had a great experience with Dr. Kwon and the staff. Would highly recommend this location. New, innovative equipment and very thorough exam, I appreciated the time and patience they took with me. I can't wait to pick out my spectacles!
I’ve been to many different vision care providers and Dr. Ramilo and the team at West Village Eyecare are the first to diagnose my vision requirements perfectly. The lenses I’ve been provided with have completely solved my reading issue - I couldn’t be happier. The tests and diagnosis procedure was extremely easy and the care and attention shown was top level. Dr. Ramilo is fantastic - highly recommended!
