Great experience. Soloman is amazing, super helpful and attentive. The saunas are clean, pool is clean and food is good. Would not recommend the lobster bisque. The rest of what is pictured was good. Second time around…will definitely be back. Loved the Birch lounge. Pricey but feels worth it.
Today’s visit was definitely worth it. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, welcoming, and professional. The sauna rooms, pools, cold plunge, and hot baths were all very clean and relaxing, which made the overall experience really enjoyable.
However, there were a few issues with the food service. After spending the whole day in the spa, we were extremely hungry and decided to order food. The staff members were all very kind and polite, but unfortunately there was hair on our table when we sat down. I removed it myself at first, but later we also found hair on one of the serving plates. We informed the server, and they did replace the plate immediately.
Another disappointing part was the wait time for the food. Out of 4 meals ordered, 3 arrived fairly quickly, but my meal never came. I ended up waiting while everyone else finished eating, and only after asking again did they realize my order had either been forgotten or never sent to the kitchen. That part was honestly frustrating, especially since there were only around 3 tables occupied in the lounge area at the time.
Overall, the spa itself was wonderful and relaxing, and the staff were friendly, but the dining experience definitely needs improvement. Despite those issues, we still had a good experience and we would definitely come back again.”
I arrived early to enjoy the saunas. They lived up to its expectations. But as soon as it was time for my massage, everything went downhill.
I was placed in a room, the size of an empty basement. It was huge. There were two massage tables in the middle of the floor, even though I was the only person having a massage. There were multiple doors within this room. I had no clue where those doors led or who was in them. There was a massive table, pushed against a wall, and there were stacked chairs in a space that was supposed to be all about rest and relaxation. I was appalled. I asked my massage therapist why was I given this room? I was told that this was the option for anyone receiving an 80 minute massage. The smaller, more intimate rooms, were for 50 minute massages. I demanded to be moved to a more appropriate & comfortable room. It took her 15 minutes to finally come back to me to tell me that I was not only running out of time for my massage due to me complaining , but there was a smaller version of the same room that I was in. I went to that room and it was equally uncomfortable with the big table and the stacked chairs, & the doors. It was the most uncomfortable & creepy experience I have ever had but I knew I could not get my money refunded so I decided to just get through the massage.
I was tense and uneasy throughout the entire session. As soon as it was over, I looked at my clock and realized that I was only given 49 minutes of the 80 minutes I paid for. I went to the manager on duty and complained about the horrible experience and asked to be refunded for the loss of 30 minutes for my massage. I was given a business card with an email address and told to contact them. Their resolution to my problem was to offer me to come back for full day in their spa. You cannot pay me to go back into the spa with the horrible treatment I received. I wanted a refund for the time that was not given to me- the difference between a 50 minute massage and an 80 minute massage.
This place showed no remorse and could care less about the horrible experience I had. I would not recommend the spa based on the poor service from the massage itself (therapist was not great), the old party room that felt like a basement for storage that I was given for my massage, and the managers refusal to refund my money for the time I was not given a proper massage. Poor experience!
I went today with my friend and we had an amazing experience. Specially aa soon as we walked in to check in we were greater and helped by Paola, she was very nice, explain all clearly and guide us since it was our first time at World Spa. Paola answered all our question and made the check in process very smooth. The only thing we didn't like was the fact that the gratuity is 20% for each service even if its one whole bill for both of us, they charge the 20% separate and by each person. So it was 20% restaurant, 20% for each massage and it was only one bill. Other than that it was great.
All the stars to this gem!
Will comeback for sure
This spa is big and comfortable, with very reasonable prices for services and special passes.
The breakfast pass was an absolute steal. I don’t know what I was expecting but it was beyond that.
Showed up at opening time so we will have enough time to enjoy the amenities before it gets crowded and to be honest even tho it did get crowded it didn’t feel like that, even tho it was on a Sunday.
The pools are clean and at the perfect temperature to relax.
The diversity of the sauna rooms was outstanding. I particularly gravitated more towards the dry banya, specially the aroma and clay ones.
Took the best nap in the relaxation room. And got to experience the Venik event that happens every 1-2 hours.
The snow room was the most pleasant surprise ever, the temperature felt perfect.
If you want to go full Slavic don’t forget the cold plunge.
The food was very diverse and super good, I was really surprised by the lobster soup.
The drinks were amazing and fairly priced.
Definitely a place where you can spend the whole day at!
