I was visiting from out-of-state and having problems with swelling around a damaged toenail nail on my left big toe. They took my Medicare insurance information and only charged me my minimum copay - just what I would have paid in Houston. The doctor was prompt, friendly and prescribed an antibiotic that almost immediately reduced painful swelling. I highly recommend CityMD.
Great experience. Very nice doctor and nurse. Got my husband’s x-ray directly at the clinic. Hopefully don’t need to come again, but if either of us need urgent care, we’ll definitely be back!
Amazing urgent care. I was in and out within 15 minutes and received fantastic care for my condition. I also saw an MD too, not a PA or NP. Highly recommend.
Front desk receptionist was great, patient and friendly.
The nurse who did the check in was also great.
But whenever I'm told it "could be this or could be that" by a doctor, I find that difficult because I've already come up with a list of things it "could be" before I arrived. The reason I'm at the doctor's office is to find out what exactly it is.
I wasted my co-pay on my could be diagnosis.
Several hours after waking up feeling my bedroom spinning before even opening my eyes, I headed over to the CityMD on Fulton Street in Manhattan. It was early in the morning, the waiting room was empty, the clerk checked me in and I was seen shortly afterwards. This was certainly better than any Emergency Room experience, although my local one is not too bad. After routine vitals and giving a urine sample, I saw a physician who really listened to my symptoms, asked pertinent questions, and much to my surprise immediately identified the problem and its cause. Some exercises were recommended and an optional medication was prescribed for the dizziness. Fortunately, within a day the problem resolved.
