I never thought to leave a review, but this needed to be said. I visit this location regularly, and there is a PSR named Briani who is always there. The wait times are extremely long, and this location is consistently short-staffed — there is always only one provider in the back. Yet through it all, Briani manages to assist everyone who comes in while remaining patient with every client. I strongly feel that this location needs more staff to support her and the other employees who work here, as they are frequently left to manage an overwhelming workload on their own. Briani does a phenomenal job, and she deserves to be recognized — City MD should make that a priority and ensure that all staff at this location receive the support they need to do their jobs effectively.
I saw Verma, Pooja PA for an infection on my finger. she was dismissive when I raised a concern about back-to-back antibiotics, and showed no empathy. She Called something into a pharmacy for me without even explaining what it was, and dismissed me immediately. Would not go here!
Went to CityMD Tribeca Urgent Care for basic blood panel during a lunch break. The PA insisted on additional panels which were irrelevant and resulted in running up a bill for $600+.. The price was not discussed or explained.
I called in multiple times to explain that the additional labs were not the standard of care.
1) I was offered a basic 10% discount
2) They were unwilling to waive the superfluous tests
3) I could not discuss directly with the PA who would not make himself available
Net/Net - I would strongly suggest going to another urgent care of leverage a physician practice directly
Very happy with my visit. Staff and doctor were excellent and just really nice. Didn't feel rushed but the service was quick and efficient.
went in on my lunch break because I didn't feel well. Right away, the staff took care of me. RN and doctors were very understanding of my time especially since I only have an hour for meal. Got my diagnose and tests done quickly and accurately. Would definitely come back!!! wonderful people.
