I initiated this project on February 27. It is now April 10 — over 6 weeks later — and GSB Digital never once delivered an acceptable proof.
The core issue: a pixelated/grainy logo that was flagged on the first proof by my Mike from sales. We went through 4 rounds of proofs and it was never fixed. Instead of solving the problem, their team sent incorrect templates, made repeated errors that required me to do their QC for them, and then tried to gaslight me by claiming graininess is normal for digital printing and sending me a photo of an Apple box as "proof." Their own sample boxes did not have this issue.
When I pushed back professionally and firmly after weeks of delays and non-answers, GSB's owner Stephan Steiner texted me to say they were "pausing service" due to me being "aggressive." I was not aggressive — I was a client who expected delivery of what was paid for.
I am now disputing the 50% deposit charge with my credit card company and starting over with a new vendor — weeks past my original pitch timeline.
Zero accountability. Zero quality control. Happy to take your money, unwilling to do the work correctly.
Do not use GSB Digital.
GSB Digital has been a pleasure to work with. Their team is professional, responsive, and consistently delivers high-quality service. We recently had a few small rush projects, and they handled everything seamlessly and on time. I highly recommend them.
This is my first time working with a print shop in NYC as a small business owner, and GSB has done an amazing job! The staff is very friendly, professional, and attentive, and they replies email very fast.
They figure out the most cost effective way and quantity to print according to my budget, and we did a test print before the actual printing to check the color. I am so happy with the results, and will definitely work with them again!
The GSB team was incredible. I was able to quickly get a quote, work with them to adjust the design to accommodate adding in velcro strips on the ends, and coordinate pickup with no issues. Mike even sent me pictures of the banner in progress, which was awesome to share on social media!! Will be using them again for signage needs as they come up.
GSB Digital was great to work with, their team was very professional and delivered on all expectations. We had a very tight window for completion and they never missed a beat. I will absolutely utilize their services again and highly recommend them, thanks GSB!
