I recently had the pleasure of working with JW Automations for a very large and complicated installation project, and I could not be more impressed with the results. Jimmy Wu and his son Justin handled an extensive setup that included a new equipment rack, security cameras, phone systems, a WiFi network, and thousands of feet of wiring throughout and interconnecting two commercial buildings on our property.
From the very beginning, they were extremely professional, efficient, and highly skilled at their craft. Before starting the project, they patiently answered countless questions to ensure we were getting exactly what we needed. Their knowledge is extensive. They offered thoughtful recommendations without ever pushing unnecessary equipment or upselling us. Their proposal was exceptionally well organized, presented in a simple and easy-to-understand format, and even included images showing the projected camera views and WiFi coverage areas.
The quality of their work was outstanding. Everything was installed in an exceptionally neat and organized manner, and their attention to detail was evident throughout the entire project. Despite the complexity and scale of the installation, every aspect was completed precisely to our requirements with great care and professionalism. The project was also completed much faster than expected, well ahead of our anticipated timeline.
What truly stood out was how knowledgeable, responsive, and trustworthy Jimmy and Justin were throughout the entire process. It is clear they take tremendous pride in both their work and customer satisfaction.

I met Jimmy over 10 years ago when I needed help with home automation Control 4 system. The minute I met him, I knew I could trust him. That is the key in this industry. The "tech guy" can tell you anything and charge you whatever. Only their integrity and honesty can keep them from ripping you off. With Jimmy, you know 1st minute, he would not do this to his customers because he treats them all like his friends and family. Thank you Jimmy for supporting our system all these years!
I want to share my great experience with Jimmy at JW. I have a pretty large Control4 system with a mix of old and new equipment that just refused to work together. My original installer wasn’t helpful at all, so I contacted Jimmy — and I’m really glad I did.
He quickly identified several issues in my system and updated the software, which my previous dealer didn’t want to do. He got everything up and running again. His rate is very reasonable, and he knows Control4, networking, and automation extremely well.
What I appreciated most is that he’s straightforward, knowledgeable, friendly, and responsive, and he doesn’t waste any time. If you’re installing a Control4 system or trying to fix an existing one that other people can’t figure out, I highly recommend Jimmy. He saved me a lot of stress, and my system finally works the way it should.
