Super quick turn around, hemmed my jeans perfectly and kept original hem. The best tailor in the city by far!!!
I love this place so much! My favorite tailor I have ever been to.
It is perfectly done everytime and fair prices. I also have had them make me custom shirts which were also amazing.
They are also so nice and friendly!
I have been going to Ramón Tailor Shop for over two years and they have never disappointed. They do great work, they honor their timelines, and they always give honest prices. Thank you for your great work!
Terrible , just terrible, first suit I dropped off was incomplete when I picked it up, the day after it was supposed to be ready and I stood around while he fixed it. Second suit I dropped off the day I picked up my first one against my better judgement, picked up a week after it was said to be ready and the chalk markings are still on the pants they never even did the alterations !!!! And I was charged for it!!!! Total waste of money but a lesson learned.
I come out of my way to get items tailored here because of Ramon's good reputation but unsure if I'll come back after my last piece. I brought a dress in to be let out, I tried the dress on and we looked at the seams together and agreed we could let it out a bit.
I came back a week or so later, the dress was not let out at all -- but literally cut in HALF into a top. My ticket clearly said 'open' on it so unsure what instructions were communicated. They managed to find the piece they chopped off, and said they would let it out + sow it back on. Luckily the dress was a patchwork style already, so I could see the possibility of that being done. The dress looks fine now, but it was a $200~ piece that was significantly altered. On top of this they made me pay for the initial price of letting it out. For such a big error I would have passed on the $20 I owed and given it back to me in once piece for free.
I have had good work done here, and have brought my nicer pieces thinking they would get expert care but I can't be sure after this. I hesitated to post this since this is a long standing small business, but they need to practice being more explicit with their ticketing system and instructions to the staff. This could have easily been a piece that they could have not sown back together.
