Friendly owner and a huge and cute collection of things. A bit expensive in my opinion, like 5$ for a sticker or 20$ for a hair clip is too much. But there were a lot of fairly priced items
Random is one of my favorite shops in NYC - a must-stop every time I come to the city. It has the cutest and quirkiest items for literally all ages. The owner clearly knows her customers and the store is always stocked with new, exciting things every time I go. It's like a little surprise each time. The prices are great and even the neighborhood is cute to explore. Definitely recommend for anyone and everyone.
My kiddo and I wanted to find a shop that had fun little trinkets for their high school friends and as stocking stuffers. This quaint shop is packed with novelty items, many of which made us laugh aloud. Gifts ranged from books, games and cards to socks, jewelry, candles and kitchen accessories. It's been open for 30 years!
The gift shop “Random” truly lives up to its name—a fun, eclectic mix of items full of pop culture references and nostalgic moments. It’s the kind of place where you’ll find things you didn’t know you needed, but suddenly want.
Everything in the shop is either useful or brings some level of joy. The shopkeeper acknowledges you when you walk in, creating a welcoming vibe, but then gives you space to browse—which is good, because there’s so much to see and touch.
JellyCats! They have JellyCats! Super cute store with millions of fun items! Floor to ceiling stacked with games, signs, toys and cute stuffed animals. You won’t leave here without buying something fun!
