T. Kang Taekwondo – Tribeca
This is the best Taekwondo studio in the world. The reason is simple — the love, presence, and genuine care that the family behind it gives to every student. World-class in every way.
This is by far the best place to learn Taekwondo in New York City! Our son has tried different places but he loves T. Kang. They make it fun for the kids with lots of variety throughout the week. They truly create a warm community space and provide a very high level of knowledge and presence during each lesson. Lastly I love that they teach the kids respect and discipline for their practice which helps them in the outside world.
My kids have attended T. Kang Taekwondo for over a year and we now understand why it's so beloved in the neighborhood. This is literally a mom and pop (and daughter) business, and you can tell how much they love teaching. They make it a point to know every child by name and what makes them tick. They teach structure and discipline, but make it fun. The kids are all smiles after every class and belt test, and so proud. Highly recommend!
We LOVE T. Kang Taekwondo and the entire family that runs it. Our son started right when he turned 3 years old and has thrived here. He's made huge strides in such a short period of time and it's truly all thanks to the extremely caring and thoughtful staff here. We love coming here and will keep our son here as long as possible. The people here make all the difference and it's been so easy to work with them on everything related to my son's classes. You will not regret trying this place. Best in the area in our opinion.
