I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the way I was treated during my recent visit to ABCDE Embroidery.
I want to make it absolutely clear that the quality of the service itself was excellent. The work delivered met my expectations and was carried out professionally. However, the behavior of one specific staff member — an older gentleman who assisted me — was completely unacceptable.
From the moment I interacted with him, his attitude was rude, dismissive, and unnecessarily hostile. I felt disrespected as a customer, and the way he spoke to me lacked basic courtesy and professionalism. There is simply no justification for treating a client in such a manner.
Good service is not only about the final product, but also about how customers are treated throughout the process. Unfortunately, this individual failed entirely in that regard. His conduct does not reflect the level of quality your work represents.
I strongly urge you to address this issue. No customer should have to experience this kind of treatment, especially in a business that otherwise delivers excellent results.
Needed last minute embroidery done on an apron I was giving as a gift. Man at the front was super nice and showed me multiple colors before I decided. They sent me a preview via email the next day. Apron was ready in less than 2 days. Incredibly fair pricing, very nice staff. Will def be back!
Went right before the holidays knowing it was probably a long shot getting something embroidered. They were busy but took my order in and got it done same day, within a couple of hours. Great service and the product looks amazing! So happy with the product and will be coming back.
They probably won't like me saying this and creating the expectation, but I dropped off on a Monday and picked up on a Tuesday. It was one smaller item but the quality is good, the price is fair, and the time was excellent. Grateful for their help and hard work (especially during the holidays when everyone is in a hurry). Exactly what I wanted/needed!
ABCDE is the BEST of its ilk in NYC. This is where I go for custom embroidery and I would never go anywhere else. Max and his team are extremely professional and kind, they work very efficiently and beautifully, communicate promptly, and deliver extraordinary products. Their prices are extremely reasonable and the quality of embroidery is outstanding. So many thread color choices and font options. I have taken many items for embroidery and they consistently come out amazing. Max is hardworking and honest — in one instance I brought an item I hoped to have embroidered but he said the material would not take the embroidery well and recommended against me having it done. All in all a fabulous business and a very rare find in today’s world.
