Recent Reviews for Flooring Contractors in New York City

Mickey and his team are pros. I hired him to refinish the parquet floors in my new apartment and they did an outstanding job. I had a few questions and they were responsive. Communication was excellent. They had to be extra patient with me because my co-op has restricted elevator access and an approval process. I'm glad it worked out and got a beautiful floor thanks to their work. Highly recommended!

The team and staff at Verrazano Flooring are true professionals. The owner, sales team and the installers are all great. They take pride in their work and the finished product speaks to that fact. When you work with Verrazano you are not just paying for the work but the years of experience and the education they provide.

Wood Vitalize May 20, 2026
by Ryan Nielsen

Wood Vitalize did a great job on our hardwood floors in Pelham, NY. Their communication from start to finish was excellent. Whether on the phone or through email, they always got helpful and guided me through the process. They used dustless sanding and an instant UV cure finish on the lower level of our home, and the floors came out beautiful. Upstairs, they performed a deep hardwood floor cleaning in our primary bedroom using eco-friendly products, and the results were amazing. They were always professional, clean, and easy to work with. We loved their service and highly recommend them for hardwood floor refinishing and wood floor cleaning.
