I realized I’d lost a channeled side diamond from my engagement ring. It actually looked like I had caught it on something and ripped it out. (don’t ask me how I wouldn’t have noticed that when it happened but the gold look damaged too as well as the stone being missing) This ring hasn’t been off my hand in decades so I was heartbroken. I found Sam from the number of wonderful reviews online and he told me quite simply “I promise you it’ll look better than it has in years when I’m done.” He found me another diamond and reset it in the channel. That’s harder than just replacing a stone with prongs, especially with the damaged channel, but he also rebuilt the prongs on the large center stone for me because I was now worried about losing that too. My wedding ring had been made to complement the engagement ring so he checked all the stones for me on both to make sure I wasn’t about to lose another and polished both rings as well as cleaning and steaming the stones. It looks lovely. The work was done quickly (brought it in late on Thursday and had it back on Monday) and I felt his prices were reasonable. One word of advice – make an appointment. It’s a small, one-man shop and both times I was there it was pretty busy. Apparently, his reputation precedes him. And give yourself a few extra minutes – he’s VERY personable and has some wonderful stories to tell!

Fantastic shop, Serviced a vintage omega bumper and did an excellent job and at a very competitive rate. He also put in some missing dial markers at my request and now it looks really good (looks like a perfect match, I don't think i can tell which are from the donor) I pearned about this shop several months ago when i came in with a loose minute hand and in 5 minutes it was reinstalled and checked for alignment. Owner is skilled and a professional repairman.i can definitely recommend this place

Chen’s is truly a gem. The selection is impeccable - a vintage watch lovers paradise. What’s even better is the service itself. I got into watches in the last 2 years and was really put off by the pomp of the luxury watch market. Chen’s is the antithesis of this - down to earth services, direct communication on repairs, reasonable pricing. I’ve had 4+ vintage watches serviced there now, and cant see myself going anywhere else.

Awesome people here. They went above and beyond to help me fix a vintage quartz Tag Heuer chronograph. They found several parts that are no longer available and fixed a botched repair that a previous owner tried to do. Sent it back to me with new parts perfectly fitted and installed and successfully restored the water resistance. Great customer service throughout, was really easy to contact them for updates. Will definitely go with them again when I need service or repairs. Highly recommend them! Thanks again!
