Hair Loss Dermatologists in Hell's Kitchen

I wish every doctor visit was as efficient and satisfactory as this one. Dr. Levy saw me quickly, gave no-nonsense answers to all of my questions (even the silly ones), then totally stunned me by asking if I'd like to take care of two of the 5 procedures we discussed right there on the spot. Within 5 minutes, an actual thing was removed from my body. It was akin to calling an audible at an ice cream shop and getting exactly what you want. Only we are talking about little pieces of skin. Not scoops of ice cream. Amazing.

Dr. Evan Rieder is hands down the best dermatologist I've ever had. I trust him completely and feel incredibly fortunate to have him guiding me on all things dermatology-related, from medical concerns to cosmetic treatments. He squeezed me into his schedule when I had a concern, and that visit led to the detection of a skin cancer that could have easily been missed. I am deeply grateful for his thoroughness and attention to detail. On the cosmetic side, he is refreshingly thoughtful and practical. He tells me what is actually worth my time and money, and just as importantly, what isn't. I never feel pressured into treatments and always leave feeling informed and confident in the plan we create together. As an added bonus, his office is absolutely beautiful—the most welcoming and thoughtfully designed medical office I've ever visited. It's one of the few doctor's appointments I genuinely enjoy going to.

Dr. Sabrina Popatia was outstanding. She was so knowledgeable and kind, she was truly meant to be a healthcare provider. I was honestly really upset with an issue I was having but she immediately found a good solution medication wise and was really understanding of my viewpoint. Looking forward to seeing her again. She’s very compassionate.

Giving 4 stars because I'm a new patient so my experience is limited. So far so good though. The office is super clean, the front desk receptionist is really kind and orderly, and the intake process is also very organized. I was able to discuss what I needed to with Dr. Henry and together we are working on my care.

I went to the dermatology specialists for the second opinion and I was glad I did. The MD dermatologist Dr Layal Antoury was fabulous. She made me feel at home, I told her I have anxiety disorder, her whole presence put me at ease including her assistant. She did a biopsy and I feel much better now that that's over with then I did with the first dermatologist I went to whereby I only saw a PA, not even a dermatologist. I strongly recommend the dermatology specialists at Union Square and especially recommend doctor Antoury ! By the way and for what it's worth I'm sure the other doctors are also very good.
